  1. Hows it going with that? I found a 36" Chilaskan in the garage that Ive never used and forgot I even bought.
  2. You? I had a new toy arrive in the post today.
  3. I cannot account for everyone's financial decisions Leslie. But I'll leave it at that as its taking the thread off of tangent.
  4. Really? Dont think so Leslie. If she can feed her family for £20 and look this well fed then Im sure anyone can. You're talking utter Tosh there. Mother who feeds her family of five on £20 a week shares her money-saving tips | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK Lorna Cooper, 44, from Paisley near Glasgow, has 554,000 followers on her Facebook page where she regularly shares...
  5. I’ll have to pop over to your site again and look at the price.
  6. That’s because food is subsidised through your tax. Foods not really cheap, if you’re paying tax you’re paying for the real cost and that of those who don’t or can’t pay tax. But you’re right, for an hours pay you can feed a family for the whole day. That’s why I don’t buy into kids from poor neighbourhoods needing lunches delivered to their homes when not in school. It’s just sheer laziness.
  7. I bought a few barrels that came from the local distillery. When was loading them into the trailer liquid sloshed all over me. Thought it was just water but it was clear it was spirits. Got them home and drained 1 pint outta each of the barrels and weighed the fluid. It was 60-65% alcohol. It also tasted amazing. 6 Pints of cask strength Whiskey and it cost me £35 a pint, with the barrels thrown in for free.
  8. Clever stuff! More kit for me to drool over.
  9. I have this saw and really like it. Came with an 18" Bar as standard. Bought for under £200 from amazon.de. Its got a great power to weight ratio and really pepped up with a muffler mod.
  10. You could do far worse than these guys. I'll be getting some custom made Tarps for covering my vented log bags. A Tree Surgeon buddy of mine has a size he has specified, think its 15-20m long and wide enough to cover a double row of bags. Well prices as well. They have been manufacturing Off-shore Kit bags for decades and have customers the world over for them. Montrose is the base for a few training centers in the Oil Field and there is always international employees attending, when they do they they make a bee-line down for the bags. 11. I bought about £250 of spares from Logosol. All direct from Sweden to my UK address and never paid a penny. Because of covid and its screwing up the global supply chain I now ship to mates in Norway and hand carry back to the UK. Id happily help others out of they'd like to take that offer up.
  12. What an utterly pathetic view of people who voted leave. That in your mind they are mostly all old codgers that dont know any better or have a quaint but racist view of those from outside of the UK. They could not possibly be intelligent people from all walks of life, of all ages and all races that see the EU for what it is and see its failings. For someone with two bunnies hugging as an avatar you really come across as a nasty piece of work.
  13. Not sure why you’ve edited a simple request and days after the first post made it political? Perhaps to get a reaction? Anyway, since you’ve done so I’ll bite. I voted leave as I’m sure you’re aware. I can guarantee it impacts me significantly more financially each month than your one off tax. But I believe it’s for the greater good of the U.K. so it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. The EU’s vaccine roll out has been an absolute shambles, where we to have remained in the EU we’d have been dragged into its mess and undoubtedly many more elderly would have died of Covid than already have. So yes, we should thank the leave voters for saving lives and perhaps we should not be so selfish. I’m sure you agree a few hundred quid in tax is a small price to pay for saving lives. Good luck in your hunt to an answer to your query.
  14. Yeh, I never use it for moving split logs. I tip from the splitter right into the trailer if on my own or let the pile build up if the missis is coming back at a later date to bag up the logs.
  15. Strange? I’ll guess it’s the tongs you tried as the Stihl ones are very ergonomic and effortless hook into logs and lift them.
  16. Easy Fence Post Repair Support For Corner And Round Post Or Tree Brace Inc VAT WWW.EBAY.CO.UK It's that simple. I have put up and repaired fences for years this is by far the easiest way of doing it. This item is larger and... Maybe worth a look?
  17. Others might not.
  18. Fixed that for ya.
  19. Thats because he wasn't.
  20. The Officer has already been fired. No doubt the Army Officer will get a nice fat pay cheque (and rightly so) The picture below shows the stark disparity in requirements to become a Police Officer, this is something that needs looked at asap in the US. But then so does the rampant gun crime in the US especially Black on Black. It seems BLM only if they are killed by a Cop and there is a chance for some good looting after.
  21. But she never, she shouted Tazer, Tazer Tazer. There's little point in not mentioning the Tazer when there is video footage of her screwing up and saying just that. Surely having both weapons painted the same colour and remarkably similar appearance is something that needs looked at?
  22. Must be all the Spring Lambs in the fields.
  23. Good point. As with all these highly emotive cases it’s best letting the courts who see all the evidence decide before they start looting and destroying their own neighbourhoods again. We only see and read what sells newspapers.
  24. I dunno like? Considering the victim (supposedly) already has warrants out for his arrest including brandishing an unlicensed firearm then when the Police try and pull him over he evades arrest, refuses to pull over then struggles with the Police when they finally apprehend him. Id be absolutely bricking myself that a man with this track record who is acting in such an uncontrollably way is not reaching for another unlicensed weapon. Id say let 'due process' take place before casting judgement but supposedly following the law is now a sackable offence. Minnesota mayor fires city manager and takes over police after man fatally shot | BreakingNews.ie WWW.BREAKINGNEWS.IE Daunte Wright died in an area that was already on edge because of the trial of the first of four police officers charged... Now-former city manager Curt Boganey, speaking earlier to reporters, said the officer who shot Mr Wright would get “due process” after the shooting. “All employees working for the city of Brooklyn Centre are entitled to due process with respect to discipline,” Mr Boganey said.
  25. Thanks!
