  1. Keep some Forestry marker paint in your van. Walk round and apply liberally to all shit left. Their garden will soon look like a shit Banksy 👍🏻
  2. And this is why we love Arbtalk! Brilliant replies folks, I'll sift through everything once I'm back home and have time to inspect the trailer properly. Some of the suggestions are definitely new ones to look for. I'll update progress this coming week.
  3. I'll check with the dealer, see if its still a valid deal. I should add, that's £400 +vat.
  4. I have an Ifor Williams LM186, triple axle behemoth of a trailer. I've had it since new, its two and a half years old and has always been maintained and cleaned and kept in good condition. I took it in for a service at Ripon Trailer Services this year and the mechanic fella commented how well kept it was. However, it has recently started having a rather serious brake issue. All 6 wheels are getting hot, and I do mean hot! I never travel fast, usually doing 40-50mph maximum. Tyre pressures are good. I've been getting some excellent help from Andrew Liverseed of Liverseed Trailers and have checked a few things he suggested. I used a ratchet strap to pull the coupling back in, and it returned as it should. I gave the coupling an extra good greasing too. I've had the trailer in at Paxtons up at Durham. They had it for two days, charged me £120 but were unable to diagnose the problem. Interestingly, it only seems to do it when the trailer is loaded up with the Logbullet. I'm open to suggestions, and beginning to clutch at straws truth be told. I'm flat out busy and need the trailer to work as it should. Since greasing the temperature has dropped a bit, but when I pull up and check the hubs are definitely hot to touch. Fire away oh wise Arbtalk collective!
  5. Quite a majestic mushroom, basking in some sunlight yesterday.
  6. Aspen for me in all my saws, blower etc. Never had a a problem. Like others though, I’m fed up of the 5L drums.I had to take all mine to the recycling point recently….. there was a colossal amount! I was offered the motomix at £400 for 200L, how does that fair up against what other are paying?
  7. Is that an upgrade or will you be employing another driver, to run two? The plan is to get another operator onboard. But it’s going to take time to get it all in place. The opportunity to buy the second one came up and I couldn’t pass it up in reality. These little things never come up for sale, so to have a back up machine that is dam near identical to mine was to good a chance to miss.
  8. There is still a plentiful supply of Devon red mud coming off the dam thing!
  9. Haha! Lesson learned on that one matey!
  10. I bet the fella I paid to get me through my test will be pissed. He was a grand fella, no nonsense and a big part of his living came from trailer tests. Now he can do something else I suppose, HGV driving perhaps?!
  11. So, I have two Logbullets now 😎
  12. 😍😍😍😍
  13. Sounds like you’d need a Logbullet! 😁 Give me a shout if the need ever arises 👍🏻
  14. Think it’s about £16 per month, so 50p a day. Service has been great from them.
  15. You need to speak to the boys at Abax! 👍🏻
  16. Could you not employ a manager of sorts, who took care of the majority of the day to day running? This leaving you with more spare time, but still a viable business running in the background perhaps?
  17. I’m sure there is a joke in here somewhere 😂
  18. I'm the baddest man on the planet 😎😂
  19. I run an 18 on my Mk2, it doesn't even flinch.
  20. Second vote for battery pole saw here. Streets ahead of the petrol powered counterparts.
  21. Just to chip in my two pence worth..... I have a 555 and it's a brilliant saw. Grunty, reliable and gets on with the job in hand. Run an 18 on it and it's grand. It's the back up for my 550 Mk2.
  22. Is that a pair of Pandas in the shed behind?
  23. I guess it’s now part of the modern day game. Some teams do it better than others though! I reckon Denmark were the first decent team we’ve come up against in the tournament. Germany couldn’t be bothered and didn’t pose anywhere near as big a threat as you’d expect. Italy will be a different game entirely. Need to make sure we don’t end up getting someone sent off!
  24. Agreed Mick. He is rapid! Thought on balance we deserved the win, but fair play to Denmark who have been excellent all tournament. After watching the Spain and Italy match on Tuesday, I fear we are going to endure 90 minutes minimum of the Italians falling down when the breeze changes. In last nights match I thought England were bad enough at it….. Denmark certainly didn’t go to ground like we did. The air will be blue in my house if they start tumbling down like a snipers got them, makes my piss boil.
