  1. Not seen one of those before that will do the job! I just feel safer with the saw away from the ground. Thanks
  2. That's what I'm frightened of! Don't like doing it on the ground as I feel unsafe if the saw decided to do anything silly hence the saw horse!

Hi I've been logging up some small trees/ branches for someone with my 170 it's inly a 12 inch bar. I'm wondering if it would run a bigger bar say 16 inch to make it reach into the saw horse better? I would not be trying to take big trees down its just awkward to fit into my saw horse for the small logs? Sorry if it's a stupid question. Thanks Richard
  4. I'm surprised the leaves are turning in London only a few falling in Lincoln so I would have thought London would not be there yet
  5. Mine would tow more than 2.6 I was just wondering if they had changed the spec (down) it makes no difference as the most I tow I about 1t plus trailer weight. Just seems odd that 190 hp now and still only 2.6 tow weight.
  6. I think I've seen on here somewhere that 1 tonne will give 1.5 m3 but I may be wrong. But £140 for 2.5 m3 hardwood sounds ok to me
  7. Is yours the outlaw? I have a new navara and its plated at 2.6
  8. Try vlc media player plays everything I've put in it. Don't know what .srt is though
  9. Can you buy a wood? An expensive way of doing it!
  10. I think it's one of those jobs that would make you happy but probably not very much money!! I'd like a small holding but can't make the numbers stack up Good luck though
  11. Hi all does anyone remember the name of the thread with the pictures of the tree with scaffold around it that is being carved by someone would like to look at pictures again thanks
  12. Ok thanks for that don't cut trees down for a living but I like the equipment you lot get to use! I may take some courses next year though as my business is contract grounds maintenance and I turn all tree work over to others at present.
  13. Being thick here but what's the bucket like picture?
  14. I've never put extra mirrors on my truck when towing I have pre97 licence. Makes me wonder if I should have some though. Normal trailer I pull is 6 foot 6 wide and 15 foot long. Low sides on it. With loading ramp. Does anyone know the proper rules as its badly written on the government website
  15. Income tax of the person doing the work. Corporation tax for the firm selling the stuff
  16. What's a ball park price on one of these if you don't mind me asking?Looks to be a great bit of kit
  17. I've got a 23hp mower doing the same thing almost chucking out smoke when high revs/under load. 2 mechanics I know both have looked at it and both think piston rings. I can't think what else it could be if I'm honest but that's the only place the oil could be getting into the combustion chamber I would think. I haven't had time to rip into mine yet as it's an engine out job. Will have to wait for winter for me to look at it!
  18. I could not sleep for about 10 days I think cant really remember if I'm honest it's so long ago. You WILL feel better soon though without a doubt. Don't give up giving up!!
  19. You will feel good in the morning 👍 Same again tomorrow And the day after.......
  20. I think the 10 digit number is a part number?
  21. Just pulled the plug. Never touched a drop since. For me that was the only way. Put the money in a pot and buy something you want. Chainsaw/drill I don't know anything you can not buy when drinking. Then buy something else. Eventually you will forget what it was like and so will everyone else. They will get the old you back! Good luck mate
