  1. Like that👍
  2. I've never put extra mirrors on my truck when towing I have pre97 licence. Makes me wonder if I should have some though. Normal trailer I pull is 6 foot 6 wide and 15 foot long. Low sides on it. With loading ramp. Does anyone know the proper rules as its badly written on the government website
  3. Huge money then!!
  4. Income tax of the person doing the work. Corporation tax for the firm selling the stuff
  5. What's a ball park price on one of these if you don't mind me asking?Looks to be a great bit of kit
  6. I've got a 23hp mower doing the same thing almost chucking out smoke when high revs/under load. 2 mechanics I know both have looked at it and both think piston rings. I can't think what else it could be if I'm honest but that's the only place the oil could be getting into the combustion chamber I would think. I haven't had time to rip into mine yet as it's an engine out job. Will have to wait for winter for me to look at it!
  7. I could not sleep for about 10 days I think cant really remember if I'm honest it's so long ago. You WILL feel better soon though without a doubt. Don't give up giving up!!
  8. You will feel good in the morning 👍 Same again tomorrow And the day after.......
  9. I think the 10 digit number is a part number?
  10. Just pulled the plug. Never touched a drop since. For me that was the only way. Put the money in a pot and buy something you want. Chainsaw/drill I don't know anything you can not buy when drinking. Then buy something else. Eventually you will forget what it was like and so will everyone else. They will get the old you back! Good luck mate
  11. Any room to make stables? There's money in just having a place to graze and sleep horses for people. On the drinking front I started out like you and turned into full blown alcoholic. Been sober for years now. Please don't let yourself get to my stage!! Never think about drink now (except when talking / writing about it) Also the beer will just depress you more. All round nasty stuff if it gets the better of you. I had to say to myself never another drink. It was daunting to begin with but after a few weeks it never bothered me again as I felt so much better. Keep going mate
  12. Don't run a tipped I have a flatbed Brian James with loading ramp and I'm really pleased with it. It runs on low profile small wheels to aid loading.
  13. Those prices are not including vat I think
  14. Here's a price list of brian James website http://www.brianjames.co.uk/pdf/CGPLUK1014Tipper_1.pdf
  15. 1b I think Oops was wiring even after it had finished!!
  16. If you only knocked £5 off per cube how did this guy make any money off it as it must cost him more than £5 per cube to deliver?
  17. You won't regret the Dr trimmer been using my dads it's brilliant !!
  18. Looks great I can't believe that's 8 years old
  19. We are going to London in November so that my wife can take the exam to qualify to teach mindfulness courses to people. It has worked for her so she is doing this to try to help the kids at her school and also an adult ed course. I should add that with the money I've spent on kit this year I too will have made about £5 an hour this year. Hope next year is better. Have lots of work assets now but as said resale won't be worth that much!
  20. Ok thanks I used my father in laws long reach up at his house 150 miles from home was not planning on doing any work but his hedge needed doing and he wasn't well so I said I'd do it. It was a corded electric thing long reach but was heavier than the echo long reach I've got and all the weight was at the end of the pole at the end of the cutter. Hedge is only 12foot long and 8 foot high but I was knackered by the end! Will be taking my own this year!!
  21. Does that make it top heavy?
  22. Thanks for thst👍👍
  23. I had the Trojan and I've now got the navara and it's much better in lots of ways. I don't think I'd have another l200 to be honest. Not a bad truck but leaves something out like you say !
  24. Thanks for that
  25. What's the weight like? Reason I ask is I have a bad shoulder and I am looking for a lightweight long reach cutter. Ideally in the next couple of weeks is like to get one. How long does battery last? Thanks Richard
