  5. Spec is important,was offered job cutting and hand burning rhoddy a fter the mulcher had done what it could. A boulder field at base of mountain with boulders the size of a house and 10 foot high rhoddy between them.in the end i declined the job as i couldnt decide how many weeks it would take,.my advice is double your daily rate and round up to the nearest week.

  11. I use an ethanol fix fuel additive with pump fuel is this the way to go? Says it will keep fuel good for a year

Its not the distance or time to the job that is important,its the distance home overloaded ,tired and not knowing where the local bobbies like to ambush you,that matter.also if there is chip or logs to remove from site during the working day, can make working at distance a pain, if i am gooing in tractor 25 miles max truck 50 or an hours driving time.but if chip etc to remove try around 10 miles
  23. There are regulations as to the height spacing and brightness for vehicle lights,if you get it WRONG you may be in trouble with the vosa boys.ps dont ask me what the regs are
  24. Get two pairs a pair of noras for farm work,cold but you can wash them out and they dry in no time,and a pair of husky boots for when you need a chainsaw.i wouldn't like to wear chainsaw boots for general farm work.
  25. Done 10 loads (24 cube) today and out again tomorrow,frost has been here most of last week.hope oil price stays low or else I will need to get my finger out!!
