  10. thats why i am thinking of the diamond disc.
  11. i was bored whilst waiting for the rain to stop this morning so went on the dreaded flea bay. i found a company in Lithuania selling diamond discs for electric chainsaw sharpeners and thought what a great idea..or is it? i currently use an Oregon pro grinder with pink abrasive disc and it does a good job at sharpening chains mullered by nails etc.but the drawback with abrasive discs is the endless need to dress the disc to reshape it and to remove the black line(if you dont the heat build up is increased and damage to the temper is inevitable) having used a diamond disc on a lidl drill bit sharpener ,there seems to be a lot less heat produced and a much cleaner grind. so this disc could have many advantages ,ie constant diameter and shape and less burning thoughts please. i will try and copy it here Seller information top-superabrasives (627 Feedback score: 627) 100% Positive Feedback Follow this seller Visit Shop: TOP-superabrasives See other items Condition:New Time left: Time left: 15d 17h (03 Apr, 2017 12:32:22 BST) Quantity: 1 5 available US $99.00 Approximately £80.02 Buy it now Add to basket 3 yr warranty from SquareTrade - £14.53 Watching Add to collection 4 watching New condition 100% positive Feedback Collect 80 Nectar points Redeem your points | Conditions Postage: US $10.00 (approx. £8.08) Standard International Shipping | See details Item location: European Union, Lithuania Posts to: Worldwide Delivery: Estimated between Mon. 27 Mar. and Mon. 3 Apr. 16. Yes tell us what area you are from.....sounds like you are buying the cheapest logs from suppliers who don't take a pride in their product. I charge a decent price for decent logs.

  22. What lengths of timber does your client wants to the stem milled to ,surely not 20 metres.so why not cross cut off bank and remove in sections that will fit the mill.then stem weight will be irrelevant and a 20 ton digger will handle logs like Match sticks. Also distance to power lines will dictate final felling length
