  6. wind is getting up now ..joy. its not the public roads that cause the problems ,its the clients who want the logs at the house/garage/logshed and wont clear their own drive,saying im at home cos of the weather so any time will do for delivery that bugs me.should we charge for clearing customers drive or tip logs on the pavement and leg it to the next nob?

  8. rubbish....got 10 orders on the books so woke up early ....6 inches of snow.bad start. got the forklift started and cleared road,,dug out truck.getting better.then doors on logshed frozen shut....bugger. went for a drive in tractor to check out roads...untouched by snowploughs,so dug out road to coulter with fork lift.went back to try and open logshed doors ,to no avail,bugger bugger. then the suicide jockies blocked main road at narrow bridge,20mph speed limit in the dry,hit it at 60 and crash bang wallop.cars and vans piled up .bugger ,bugger,bugger went home to phone customers to say will be out tomorrow so did tax return and drank tea all day. people rang up all day wanting logs ...i just said i will see you when i see you and made another cuppa. great doing logs , and who wished for snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. If the Tees grow in that soil.it will need a lot of maintenance work over the coming years.how about membrane, a few loads of chip,and some choice compact evergreen shrubs, surrounded by a laurel hedge,all year colour and no pricks

I run two 395 s and can easily burn 15 litres a day of mix.you must be rich to run it on aspen, a litre a fill and 20 min cutting.but they are my main saws running 24 and 28 inch bars.occasionally a 36.in 5 years either have missed a beat,and cream my old 285 xp. .put a 8 tooth rim and a 20 inch bar on and I doubt there are many machines that will beat it.apart from a spud model one.......One day I hope

  15. Best finish for a table is a bottle of good claret ,,couple of t.bones a candle and a beautiful lady opposite.enjoy the moment.whether varnish oil or whatever won't really matter as you won't be looking at the table.happy christmas
