  1. If you scroll down tho the many pics you will find a photo of chassis plate and it shows mam of 7500 km or there abouts
  2. i like it but try and get that up an:thumbup: average sized driveway without destroying the gate posts ,walls, lawn, flower beds etc.

  4. are they .325 or 3/8 pitch...guess most people convert to 3/8,
  5. Try ram parts and they will build a ram to original spec
  6. when it is felled, transported to roadside,in a lorry friendly place, and in 3metre lenghts, graded so the big stuff is separate to the small stuff ,it might be worth £30-35 a ton.that is if there is at least 25 ton in the stack.
  7. Missed the caledonian open day too busy selling logs but definitely going to Wilsons this Friday, been on a diet all week so I can max out on burgers!
  8. I like to dress up in bras too.try a girdle, that should do it!,
  9. Firewood machinery mostly.processors,crackers,and kindling machines,etc
  10. Anyone going to caledonian forestry open day this weekend 6th/7th May or jas please Wilson 13TH /14th.if so I will buy you a free cuppa at Wilsons !
  11. show us some pics and prices then might be interested
  12. If it were not for the leylandii hedge many a tree surgeon would be broke, yes they are worth a fortune!!
  13. I would if the daily rate was affordable.and yes we all sell firewood but our delivery areas don't infringe. I use my nearest competitor to break down oversize timber with a digger and cracker, suits me for 350 a day and saves the capital cost. What would be silly is 2 people within a 20 mile radius buyinget identical expensive tackle and competing for limited work, if you provide a professional service with modern kit you will get work. P's I would hire the hazelhec again, pity you went nearer tom!
  14. I have about 4 to 5 cube of chip which is fairly old in yard if that is better.free if you collect it.can load .if that is better
  15. Might have some spruce chip soon.needles and all.....any good?
  16. Sell the truck.I had a leaking sunroof in my car, after spilling a 2 pinta it honked every time it got wet.dry cleaning didn't touch it ........mind you I never tried pee....pity it was a good car.
  17. Jaspwilson have a county and a Ford. Old looking but won't be cheap,I think.
  18. dont do it ...dont buy a chinese chipper housemartin or other ,they are poo.look out for the yellow stand at back and run if you see it.i bought one and it worked well for 2 branches!!!then sheared the shaft of the drive roller.build quality not good, and metal oh so weak.i bought an ancient tp 760 pto and its done 10 years without a single breakdown.you gert what you pay for.
  19. I do my stumps with a 14 ton tracked digger dig them out then Bury stumps 3 fact down upside down and make good.the only problems would be the ones by the wall. But a long day would do the easy ones at £45 an hour.maybe hire in a wee grinder to do stumps by wall.well under a 1000 though and no chips.also good for surface roots as whole stump is removed as well as a team tap root.depth to be buried at easilly changed.if burying not an option stumps can be left in piles and removed with tractor and trailer still change from a grand
  20. That's where Mendip jon went! Mmm good one mate
