  3. A branch logger may be the machine for that . Just need a load of small stems.i might have some cherry cord wood arriving tomorrow,diameters unknown as part of a lorry load.felled last March. Distance could kill it but if any good I will put it to one side.

  8. I have a well used 28 inch bar you can have,it's usable with the odd chip on the rails.you can have it for a 10er(mainly to cover postage).and will send your new chain with it . jake. It's off y 395 so will fit your 281
  9. no idea about volume produced, just a lorry load of spruce and a big pile of logs to show.cutting to 500mm cetrainly speeds things up and it was all 12 inch diameter timber which had been through a harvester(so no little pegs to jam log when feeding).it was a contract splitting job for a customer with a biomass boiler.just start the machine and keep going till the logs were all done.

  11. That was for a biomass boiler,yes my norm is 10 inches and slower.
  12. My best so far is 25 ton in 5 hours.that was cutting to 500 mm thru 6 way knife with posh 360 plus log deck .I did have a forklift and timber grab feeding me
