  1. Hi Daves, As Calum said above the machine will be with them later this week. Unfortunately I was unable to get access to the messages due to being away have only just managed to see them now, my apologies. Thanks Will.

Steering was a tad light with these in the back!
  3. Should of guessed that! What a shame im up near Penrith at the moment, if I had brought a trailer I could have come bought some!
  4. Down to about fist size, was abit of pig to start with but found a fairly easy way of doing it and it's pretty efficient.
  5. It is for smoking, I normally process it down to the chunks he's after, but he normally sources the wood. He's brought me a whole range before from cord to kiln dried logs. I find it's easiest to work cord when trying to get the sizes of chunks he wants, to much faff with logs. So ideally I'm after cord.
  6. Quickest way I find for my WP36 was to stick a cable tie round chain and bar near the bottom to hold the chain on, then put the chain on the sprocket and put the block back on and tension. Nice and easy once done a couple times.
  7. I've got a client who is after some Cherry wood in the Warwickshire area. He doesn't want to much to start with, a few hundred kilos probably. Anybody got some lying around that they want to sell? Thanks.
  8. Went to the meet at Upton house yesterday with the Warwickshire hunt. Nice to see a good turnout, biggest I've seen for a while.
  9. My first car I used for work was a Daihatsu Fourtrak, still driving it now!
  10. Agree with everything said above, I've had a great experience with Riko when purchasing a processor. I have had a couple dealings with them since and found them to be very knowledgable and efficient. It's rare to find a company where the service is better than expected!
  11. My in-laws work Cockers and I've got a gsp and I know which dog I would rather have! My pointer and the in-laws youngest cocker were born same day, both had the same training largely and it's been very interesting to train and start working the dogs side by side. Cockers great if she's feeling biddable but more often than not she will just chase and chase regardless of the whistle very strong prey drive and a mind of her own combined with a certain disregard for discipline can lead to trouble, so she's not been out on a proper shoot yet to much of liability. Whereas my pointer is a great all round dog. Never hesitates at the whistle, brains like a sponge and she just wants to please. Whatever happens it gives you great pleasure to see your dog working in the field, but again there's nothing more embarrassing than your dog cocking up a good drive!
  12. Definitely given me something to think about! Thanks for taking the time to give me such a thorough answer. I will try and ring a few local Sawmills to gauge any interest.
