  1. one of those mulcher thinymajigs on a digger .mulch from top down.replace glass on house as required afterwards....MUCH SAFER than climbing it:thumbup:
  2. You can buy archer chain on ebay for just over 100 quid a roll,cheapo but never used it but it can't be as good as oregon.please prove me wrong

  5. well done stefan.i had a pita customer yesterday .we were working next door and he asked us to fell an dead apple tree.looked over and said aye £50 to drop it and log it .felled and chipped in 20 mins ,loaded kit and no cash ...i said to client and he said they logs wont fit my fire ,i said get an axe ,he said could you just cut them up with saw .....i swore under my breath and 15 mins later a tidy job became a mess as his lawn was covered in logs and saw dust.grabbed the cash and fled.you get what you pay for:thumbup:

  8. walk one of the worst sections and guestimate howmany metres you will cut in a day.work out your daily rate, double it and divide by the number of metres you think you can do in a day.that should cover your ass,and make you some money on the easy bits:thumbup:

    I get mine from a local engineering firm,if you ask for offcuts then they are much cheaper than new stock.always worth looking in scrap skip as that's generally free.

  17. Some oregon bars have a grease hole in nose sprocket some don't. If they needed greasing they would all have holes.i tend to use power match bars which have replaceable tips but only changed 2 in 20 year's. Do sugi bars have grease holes?as I am going to them next due to the rave reviews about them on here
  18. I give mine a blow job when it gets in range of airline. Otherwise I work on the principal that if you never grease it lasts ok,if you do it regularly then good,but sporadic greasing is bad.

  20. I always put 500 ml in 20 litres of pectrol. 400 for 50:1 and 100 for the can.not sure what mix that gives but works for me.never had any barrel or piston probs in 20 year's
