  1. Tom d has a hazzlehack might need to get a demo.thought about a farming one is that foolish?I know you get what you pay for.are there any advantages of looking a a static machine built next to dryer or PTO power which could do more than one site??
  2. What size chipper for 300 horses?my Max diameter could be down to 18 inch.anything bigger will be broken down with digger and cracker.what's the best chipper??

  4. A local estate is planning a new biomass unit. 3 boilers and a chip drying plant to heat approx a dozen houses. My interest is that I would like to get involved in the timber forwarding(have timber trailer and tractor).chipping first thinning ...what is the best chipper in size and with respect to chip quality.I have a to 760 chipper which is old but runs,and I know will not do a good job.how many horse power do I need to run chipper.or what is a sensible contractors rate to produce chip in tonnes/ cubic metres/ hourly rate? Should I jump or let someone else get the work.prelimary figures suggested 200-250 tonnes a year. Sensible replys welcome,advice taken and leg pulling will of course .

  9. I use GB oils chain oil ,clean sticky and cheap.gave up on Oregon too inconsistent.

  13. Try either kerb granules or flowable ,headland judo.kills grass but not the tree,best applied in winter and will suppress grass until July or and.make sure you wash out your sprayer if you have sprayed glyposate or you will kill trees

  18. I clean blades with red diesel then oil with chain oil mixed with suto,from old fashioned oil can.grease with grease gun and multi purpose grease any have no issues.biggest wreaked of blades is rabbit net fences!!!!!

  21. A snow shovel and ton bag .cheap and reliable
  22. its a bit over guarded but works well on small kubots tractor for cutting up billets.only reason for selling is i have a browns woodworker offered to me so i can rip as well as cross cut.mm somerset is a tad far.
  23. i have a major saw bench for sale just under a year old and in vgc.offers??not a cheap brand but spares are readilly availible and tct blade:thumbup:
