  1. I bought a small crane from rock machinery.....perfect for bulk bags ,and stump grinders. Costa about 200 quid, best part is you can buy a spare base for 30 quid and mount on trailer. Just move crane from truck to trailer as required.
  2. Get your 50 calibre zeroed in!
  3. I bought a Chinese 8 inch chipper off e bay when I couldn't hire one, thought it would do a job which would last a week, chipper lasted for 2 branches then feed roller drive shaft sheared, utter poo. Think it was a house Martin One, supposedly a professional machine.in the end bought a tp760 p to ,that was 20 years at least old.changed 2 hydraulic pipes and filter, sharpened blades and it is still working a treat after 8 years use.not bad for 900 quid.
  4. Are you buying or selling it? I guess about 6.5k
  5. We used to use a single furrow plough ,plough a row then lift them into trailer by hand, thank god they invented the mulcher!! You could actually mulch the whole tree and roots in one pass, unless you really want the firewood.

  12. Can't you fabricate one from suitable angle iron?
  13. I bought a cheap one off eBay, blew up motor in 2 months so bought the oregano one, what a tool and you can do depth gauges an hedge cutter blades on it....Top tip keep the grinding stone dressed,as soon as it looks black dress it ,saves heat build up which is bad for teeth and sharpens better.
  14. Just out of interest ,wouldn't the compressed air jet damage roots by injecting air into them and by physical damage to the root surfaces? I know it will be less than a digging bucket crashing through them .
  15. Done 76 loads (2.3 cube approx )of hardwood and 41 of softwood this season ,sales slow due to oil price but we had frost again this morning so phone will start soon.
  16. Forklift springs to mind.you could drag with winch but will destroy the ground surface ,unless there is a relief valve for tracks so you can let them freewheel.
  17. I wish but need to be flora proactive now,had too much real butter in the past!
  18. Perks of country living either hook it or shoot it.
