  1. The return to tank hose fits to an orange connection on the tank, it is quite hard to see it, it sits next to the white breather nozzel, it was quite common to see people connect the return to tank hose to the breather.

    Husqvarna CD480

Lots of parts now obsolete so be careful, if it breaks it could be the end of it, good old saw though.
  3. Please see picture
  4. Oh dear, what you have there is the cylinder that used to have the auto deco valve, it has been converted to a standard deco valve, there should be a rubber boot on that nipple or you will have a massive air leak.
  5. You are going to need an extra link in that chain, not quite sure why you want that lenght of bar anyway, the oil pump is non adjustable and i hope its not the tooless brake.
  6. Seen plenty of these Chinese saws, its not a copy its a counterfeit so is technically illegal to advertise as a Husqvarna.
  7. The chain in the picture is 91sg 3/8 050 gauge and the bar is a hobby bar not sure what Husqvarna it is from as they dont use open ended bars, maybe from Mccullock or Partner consumer saw.
  8. Still thinking vapour lock, saw over heating possible air leak, poor or stale fuel, might be intresting to try some Aspen through it.
  9. Absolutley so, however this is only going to help if the throttle is not opening enough on the part throttle lock, you can adjust it yourself. there is also a low speed screw ( it has a fixed main jet ) this can be richened slightly also to help.
  10. No there is no spring here.
  11. There is no part throttle on the carb, it has a button on the handle to gain part throttle, this can be adjusted to increse the fast idle, there is a screw on the throttle shaft l/h side, cant imagine it needs a new cylinder and piston unless there was some damage to the rings, the cylinder is used on the K1250/1260 so is not as expensive compared to other models.
  12. Sounds more like vapour lock, the Aspen gang will be along in a minute.
  13. You need to re check ALL the bolys have a spacer, changing nuts and loctiteing is not going to stop the blades tightening, check the screws into the gear housing have spacers.
  14. If he has only removed the cylinder to remove the rope and just re assembled there should be no issue with auto tune, so has he re connected the white socket back together properly? has the fuel hose connected properly? has the carb connected to the two air ports correctly on re assembly? was the base gasket ok? has he broken the ring? you say he is compitent is he?
  15. Carb off, then remove the carb plate against the cylinder, here you will find the impulse seal and the rubber inlet tube, check both for splits and cracks.
  16. The 136 has a duck bill tank breather so it is quite normal to have a fair pressure in the tank, you will always get a jet of fuel from the hose when removed from the carb, it is always best to release the filler cap before removing the hose, if it started prior to you remvig and cleaning the carb and now does not run then i guess it is somthing you have or have not done ( sorry )
  17. Black frame 80 micron, yellow frame 44 micron, orange frame 25 micron
  18. Oh how witty, i think i might split my sides with laughter, they say ignorance is bliss.
  19. Also bear in mind we now have centrifugal air cleaning and compensator carbs both are there to reduce air filter cleaning during the working day, but obviously the filter should still be cleaned at the end of the day.
  20. Well said, the carb has a govenor so they did not normally over rev, always ran them on 25.1 mix they last for ever.
  21. Some times you have to shoot from the hip Stubby!
  22. Impulse hose?
  23. Sorry mate you cannot fit a 395 cylinder, any cylinders that would have fitted are probably long gone 185/285/1100/2100.

    560 woes

Very good point Stubby, time will tell if it cures screws coming loose.
  25. Hobby saw badge engineered, Quadra engine sold by Husqvarna, Danarm, pioneer and numerous others part no. 100072 check the web.
