  1. Yes your right but I price mine accordingly. I sell half cube bags for £60 and I'm happy at that.
  2. At the price it costs for cord plus processing I think logs from abroad are the answer or a firm near me is doing 5 cube of kiln dried hardwood for 350 so I'm gonna buy some of that I think and just flog it on.
  3. Not if you get them off builders for free eggs mate:)
  4. I like your product but I really can't see the point of putting u split logs into a bag???? Logs should be split for burning over a certain size IMO. I am in no way knocking your idea.😃
  5. Jon likes em bigger than that mate.

    Landy vs truck.

My mate made it for me but was not cheap as the tape is 3M and the proper stuff mate.

  9. Good on you mate, more 19 year olds should take a leaf out of your book.
  10. Look a nice Landy mate. Great boots too! I love em!
  11. I'm sure I saw that Landy at the APF and judging from the new pants Airstreams I did. Lol😀

    Ditto!!
  13. Brilliant jacket! I have 3 of them!
  14. I really like it, great idea. I can't help thinking how much you look like Jesus now Reg. LOL.
  15. Nice one Paul, Charlie was 1 a couple of weeks back, time goes so fast. Enjoy your day mate.
  16. Very good points. As an employer I think it is very important you can use your initiative, I am fed up with young lads coming and giving it large but have no idea how to think for themselves, if you don't get taught it on your 6 week tree surgery course then you don't need it attitude.
  17. Ouch, poor design that, you would expect more from a established company.
  18. Sounds like you would be best agreeing a day rate and working to that if you ain't seen it mate.
  19. First up, has a felling licence been put in place? Is your job to fell and stack? What's happening to the brash? You will need someone working with you. Insurance. What diameter trees? That will determine guide bar length and then saw size. Work on a day rate covering your costs and wages etc.
  20. Looks like it will need to be rigged down, you need working space around the tree and also somewhere for all the Brash and timber. Looks like the understory is laurel so that will grow back. For a big tree like that I would say about £600-£750 from the pics. As they say, you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.
  21. A mate of mine does a cycle race every year called the Fred Witton, it is a 90 mile race around the Lakes, the Last miles are up Wrynose and Hardknott, they must be mad.
  22. You should of brought me 12 cans of Aspen Barrie. LOL.
  23. I know folk who have put old carpet down on paths and then put the Woodchip on top.
  24. Yes it's Eddie and he is a very helpful bloke.
