It's by Jussi Adler Olssen. It's on Amazon.
  2. The customer should have got some quotes before paying that kind of money. They have been well and truly ripped off.
  3. There about a tenner a plank new I think??
  4. Why not cut one up and find out;)
  5. We'll the last new car I bought the garage wouldn't give a discount, they said they didn't need to do that to shift cars. Maybe 15-20 years ago but the margins are a lot tighter. The way HB20's sell I doubt dean needs to knock money off to shift them. Maybe a set off teeth or something but I feel the days of massive discounts are behind us. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  6. Fair play, I'm just saying sometimes cheap isn't always best, when I bought my 550 cog I could of save about £50 getting it from Jonsie, but I bought it local because if there is a problem I can take it in and deal with them face to face and not have to send it back and pay for postage or get attitude off my local dealer as to why I don't take the saw back to where I bought it.
  7. Yet when people ask us if it's cheaper for cash or "I've had a cheaper quote can you match it?" We turn all defensive?? Yet we want money off a grinder. Do you ask for money off I'm the supermarket?
  8. Pretty bad if you would buy off a company from Essex to save £15 as opposed to buying local. If you had a problem and went back to the local dealer I hope he would tell you where to stick £15:)
  9. I agree, I will stand up for Timberwolf without question as it has made me a living for over 10 years, sure it's had a few things go but not in the dramatic way people on here go on about.. It will chip away on big jobs happily all day long. I will quite happily keep my chipper for another 1000 hours but it makes sense to look at changing soon for the tax benefits. I am excited to be getting the new 230 on demo soon but will only buy it if it is made into a VTR.
  10. I'm looking forward to checking out the forst vari track and the new Timberwolf (hopefully vari track) at the AFP, that's my mission for the show, I am wanting to replace my 150 vtr in the next year so let's see what is going to be best for me. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  11. My mate is a climber in Oslo, he is on here under the name of James austrums, you could drop him a pm and he could give you some info:) Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk

I loved trail of the dead Mark, you mentioned it a few years back and I really enjoyed it. A few linwood Barclay books are good. I am reading a Nordic crime thriller at the moment called the keeper of lost causes which is looking good so far. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  13. Cool, I will call later. Thanks. Hodge
  14. The area leading into the rollers being black is quite misleading as it makes the hole look bigger than it is;) I would prefer it to be orange. Hodge
  15. I'm not sure what's most disturbing, sitting in your truck for 20 mins watching or the fools doing it for so little money, just forget it and move on mate. Hodge
  16. I really hope so mate, having a VTR machine really has been a job winner for me on many job. Thanks for the info, I will be going to have a butchers at the APF. Hodge
  17. Like it, I was wondering if there was a better way to pack it away today whilst I was packing mine away. Hodge
  18. Just wondering why you would pay more for Birch than Sycamore when Sycamore is a far better and longer lasting log than Birch? Hodge
  19. Me too, crap design! Hodge
  20. Multi tip on my rayco RG 13 was excellent and made a big difference to such a small machine. I now have a HB20 but with green teeth which a very good. Hodge
  21. But if you give a chain a tickle then it won't go blunt unless you hit something. You wouldn't let your car run out of fuel before filling up would you so tickle the chain at the first sign of dulling. Hodge
  22. Buy a testing kit. If it's like a fish tank that needs cycling before introducing fish then a test kit would show. Ammonia and nitrite levels need to be spot on before putting fish in. But as I said I don't know if a pond needs the same. Also do you run a filter and air pump? Hodge

  25. I just drop the trailer ramp and tip the body up and chip away. It works for me:) Hodge
