  1. Please explain a ratcheting clutch? I trained as a mechanic in the late 80's and I've never come across that term before??? Hodge
  2. I agree that a letterbox opening would be a benefit to the 150, however I could pick faults with all the chippers I have used. If chipper manufactures actually listened to the people that use them then we may get the perfect chipper:) Hodge
  3. Just get it on eBay and get the bandit Ty, cut your losses and move on mate, it's not doing you any good being messed about like this mate. Hodge
  4. Agreed, I can't knock something that had been so good to me, we had it running flat out this week in this heat chipping 6" and it was great. I'm sure TW will have put greaseable bearings in.....won't they? Hodge
  5. Think what you want, I love my 150, it does what I need it to do. I have had it from new and it's done 1000 hours in 6 years, 1 set of bearings. I change the blades as soon as the loose there edge. I speak as I find. Hodge
  6. I've never had a problem with output on my 150, we have been running it flat out this week in 30 degree heat and it's never missed a beat. As for the bearings if you keep the blades sharp the bearings are fine. Most Timberwolfs that fail are not maintained correctly. Hodge
  7. Paul would love that. Hodge
  8. Nahh, birds love baldys! Hodge

  12. 8.15 start Jon mate we moved the last of the wood while silky Paul and Andy were in the trees. Good set of lads. Hodge
  13. Most of that is 6" above as we chopped everything the Timberwolf could take. In this heat chipping 6" down it never missed a beat, cracking little chipper. If you look after the wolf, the wolf will look after you!:) Hodge
  14. the Connie heap from this job, get it split and bagged and it will dry well in this heat, its grand stuff on a wood burner stove when its dry. Hodge
