  1. Lakes Biomass in Ulverston might be able to help you.
  2. I've never had a problem doing it. So long as you have plenty of signs out and hi viz vests then people stop when you put both signs on stop.
  3. Really? I thought it looked slow.
  4. I got stop go signs off the net, very strong build quality. Good price to but I don't remember where from.
  5. we did this one on Monday, bloody awe full to chip!
  6. Nice one, I guess you have done the hardest thing by confronting it and now you can get help. My wife's cousin had depression and hung himself, if only he had talked to someone. I hope you can get the help you need:)
  7. Superwinch EP 12.5 it's been awesome in the 8 years I've had it, last week it pulled over a big beech stick and today it pulled over a big spruce. It's got me out of a few stick mud patches too.
  8. I've been with them for 10 years, paid out twice no bother.
  9. Very neat looking winch bumper that.
  10. I tend not to do work for commercial customers but when I do price for them then I put a big price in to cover the fact that buy the time they pay I will have spent the money at least twice. They have you over a barrel because if you work for them it at least 90 days take it or leave it and often they want the best price. I'd rather not work for these types, 3 or 4 small jobs a day and I'm happy as the money is great.
  11. sign written trucks look great, they are the best advertisement you can have day to day, spend a bit and get it done properly.
  12. I would recommend Superwinch, I have 2 and they have paid for themselves 10 fold.
  13. It's not as good as the dirty MILF forum that I am on, err sorry I've been told about.. Ha,Ha, Arbtalk is an excellent forum and generally a good bunch.
  14. If it's a good job and I want it I might drop £20 but that's it, stick to your guns, half the time there trying it on. I had a bloke last week do it, I quoted £375 so he says well call it £350 and you can have the job, to which I said sorry but it's £375 waste cost etc blah blah, and he said ok £375. You won't win em all.
  15. I used to sharpen my multi tip teeth no problem.
  16. That's not a bad deal really.
  17. Rather than cheaper why not get what's better, cheap very rarely is best in my experience.
  18. I would have agreed a year ago, for me it would now be 550 xpg, 372 xp and 395 xpg.
  19. That's brilliant! The guy is very inginious. If it was in the uk then the HSE would get wind of it and shut it down no doubt.
  20. You seem really into it MWarb, it's a shame that enthusiasm can't be said about all the Arb courses around, I've had 2 lads from the local college near me and from what they tell me and from what I've seen it pretty poor. To find a 16-20 year old with enthusiasm for work rather than Red bull and texting would be great (I'm not saying there all like that but a lot of them I have come across are)
  21. So do tree surgeons lol.
  22. Try a vw breakers yard, you will find one on the net.
  23. Thanks Hamdog, we do try, the lads that help are a good set of lads. Andy has about 14 years climbing experience and does a good job.
  24. That's great!! Happy Birthday!
  25. Today's job was to take this Beech tree down, it had a small drop zone and due to the high winds we lowered everything, Andy Slade up the tree and we started at 8.45 had it stripped and ready to be Chogged down by 10.15. Then a brew, charged down and ringed up by 11.50 and away. Good crew as always helps!
