  1. Is that plus VAT? Last load of Oak,Ash,Birch I got was £45 plus Haulage. I wouldn't buy oak as it taks to long to season.

    Skyland

I spoke to Mark last week about something and he was very helpful and when it's time to buy what I was enquiring about I will be giving him the sale!

    Field tree

Usually the field boundary covers the verge too, this was brought into play to my knowledge by the land registry when I took ownership of my field.
  4. It doesn't matter how good a chipper is if the dealer back up if poor. This is something I will be checking with the new dealer before I buy my new chipper. I have never had any problems with Orange plant in the 10 years I have dealt with the Newcastle depot, Graham and Paul have always been there when I needed advice and help, now they don't sell Timberwolf anymore I will be finding a new dealer so I'm hoping they will offer the complete customer care package.
  5. We have one to make our bread as our son can't eat bread with milk in, as most shop bought has milk in we bought a Panasonic bread maker and it is really good.
  6. He's on about the infeed rollers not the flywheel bearings I think mate
  7. It used to be called character building. The last trainee was a reet mummy's boy.
  8. Why would you bother?
  9. Wait for the new Timberwolf 230 vari tracks, should be around may. Awesome machine.
  10. You won't be disappointed. Bloody great machine. I actually don't mind doing stumps anymore.
  11. I have a bandit HB20, it's the best pedestrian grinder on the market IMO, the turntable makes it very easy to use. I do a lot of stumps and have had 13 - 35 hp grinders in the past and this is the best all rounder.
  12. I really don't think we should have to justify our selves if they accept the quote though. Most customers I have don't ask and the ones that do get the answer I posted before.
  13. If I think it will take a day then if they ask how long will it take I say it could take up to a day maybe more or maybe less. Ha,Ha. Then if they say you have only been here a couple of hours is it cheaper I ask them if it took me a couple of weeks would they pay me more? That shuts them up.

    CV question

I would want a bit on the skills you have, I.e. Can you lower? What jobs you can do on the ground, can you sharpen a saw to a good standard.
  15. Err, that's totally contradicting the point of the original post isn't it?
  16. A few jobs we have done lately.
  17. I have been following the threads about this and I find the whole thing is very confusing. I also don't understand the Jensen Forst thing, please explain. I am glad I have a Timberwolf and a reliable dealer network and un confusing contacts if I need them. And before the usual slagging off of Timberwolf ensues let me just say that the new 230 is awesome and gives all the other like for like machines a run for their money.
  18. Hi Wes, if you are not having much success after 5 years then ask yourself why? What do you class as being successful? Are you making money, earning a wage or scratching a living? Who are your competitors and are they successfully running their business?
  19. Just tell him you will cut them up if he buys you a new chain! God I hate customers that are knobs!
  20. I have one and it doesn't blow it circulates IMO, 2 fans wouldn't do what you think swinny. Before we had a Eco fan the room got incredibly hot and unbearable but with the fan it circulates the air in the room better.
  21. How come there are all these new Jensen dealers popping up?
  22. Good for you mate, you need brass in pocket mate. I'm sure you will do well for them and they are lucky to have you as when you did jobs with me you were a grafter! Hope to see u soon.
  23. What's happened with Special Branch mate?
  24. For Valtra, try Jas Wilsons.
  25. With all this money you have spent on the grinder you could have had an HB20 mate;)
