  1. Not at all I want to know more about his kiln, I quoted you as you asked some questions and I was interested.
  2. Because an accountant can find things you would not know, also if the tax man comes after you your accountant can answer questions etc. it depends on your business but even a small scale Subby will benefit from a good accountant.
  3. That's awful, feel for ya, hope you make a full and speedy recovery.
  4. You sure about that? I doubt people would pay for an accountant if it wasn't tax deductible.
  5. Tell us more about your set up huck as it sounds interesting:)
  6. Like you say it each to their own mate, I'd rather be trimming hedges and Connie bashing than working nights.
  7. You can keep your railway work, it sounds like the ahole of tree work:)
  8. Wot a plonker, I would of sacked him on the spot. And people say I'm tight for not renting my chipper out..
  9. £50-£500 for a fell and £150-£5000 for a dismantle
  10. I had a 1x37 for 3 years, never had any trouble with it.
  11. You could make something similar or look at truncator.

    Arbbay!?

Good idea but I think it will be another way for people to sell utter junk, my mate has had 3 saws off eBay all of which have died within a few weeks. Sometimes you get lucky but that's my opinion.
  13. It's the only way I can deal with some of our guests!
  14. But I've had a few and dared say it, lol.
  15. Err, space in the tool locker, easy to carry into gardens. roll eyes!!
  16. Just an idea mate but if you lol on their website it gives the christmas opening times. LOL;)
  17. Stihl make great combi cans. Wouldn't use anything else.
  18. All the best Paul, hope to see you again soon mate.
  19. Lol, I was thinking similar.
  20. I used to get people coming to me from the Facebook page that didn't want to pay for tree work or just wanted it done cheap or to be given a quote without looking at the job. I don't use it anymore.
  21. I want to shop at marks and Spencer's all the time but the price is too high. They ain't got a clue.
  22. Logs are the last thing I'm thinking about for the next 2 weeks as I'm off now, if anyone calls up asking for them I have plenty of numbers I can pass on:) have a great Christmas everyone.
  23. We seem to all have the same experiences with quoting for jobs. I now quote what I want/need to do that job. If I get asked to do a job for a mate, and they are a genuine mate then I look after them but big jobs for mates I explain the costs a bit to them and they usually understand.
  24. I'd want £1000 +vat mate.
  25. How many days work and for how many men?
