  1. at least we are out of it, but it of cause there will be some reason from some why we would of been better involved in the corrupt gravy train 🤦‍♂️
  2. One of ours came lose as well. It luckily we spotted it when it just needed a nip up. Cracking machines tho, half wish we had kept it when we got out of the tree work but @Dave Alviti gave us a good price back for it, proper good guy to deal with.

That’s really smart. What’s is the roof built up of? I’m guessing there is a membrane under and over the timbers followed by some soil and then grass.
  4. Or maybe there immune system is buggered due to masks and a lack of contact with germs and are now paying the price for it?
  5. You can put gravel board under the pickets so it is far easier to strim if needed, other than that I reckon Dan has got it right.

  9. Did I see that right? Using battery’s to spin a generator to power a light bulb that could have been powered far better by the batteries directly? fair play there generator works to a point but free power it is not

    Pricing

If you have them left in stock thats your bonus, still charge the same as if they had come in for the job, both customers pay for them and your mill extension is a good way towards being funded.
  11. A good young spotty geek with a laptop will do the whole lot, more grunt, no egr and no add blue all in the time it takes you to drink a couple of mugs of his tea 👍
  12. Another vote for Rtech. Mig and arc in one box just a flick of the switch to swop between the 2 👍
  13. I’ve not worked it out in kw/hr but we burn 12-15 cube (stacked) of mixed logs a winter to heat our place with a 8kw stove.
  14. Try an adjustable Bateson hitch and play with tow ball heights. do you have to lift the trailer on or push it down to meet the hitch?

Do I remember rightly you have lived on the water before? good luck
  19. If people can’t be organised enough to keep a spare chain of each common size they use there is something wrong, I can’t see a problem waiting a couple of days. Good luck with the next venture Rob, if it’s anything like your service to date it will be spot on 👍
  20. Josh beat me too it!
  21. Tec bolts screwed through, the heads give good grip and can be removed if you need to slide something up the ramps.
  22. Well that’s thrown my trip!
  23. 8 all day even with a transit. You will learn to back it more where you want but they are push able with 2 people. Also the time saved snedding out forks and the joy of watching lots more connifer disappear will more than cover the extra fuel to drag it around. Fuel usage is about the same for the chipper between 6 and 8, but I’ve not run a petrol chipper so can’t comment on them
  24. As mick says. I find it easier to drop the hopper off for access but it’s not needed just makes it a little easier if you have a loader or a extra pair of hands.
  25. I would be interested to see how you go with them, keep us updated.
