    Jokes???

    Volkswagen Beetle, probably early 70s
  12. There is worse firewood. I would take lime over willow or horse chestnut any day
  13. Looks a handy bit of kit. What sort of money did it cost you to build?
  14. My favourite used to be my lid, put it down while on the rake at end of a job and leaving it behind.
  15. wrong tree planted in wrong location, I would put money on either it was pot bound and didn’t like the drought last year or the man next door has some roundup and a paint brush. They are near impossible to kill by cutting them back. what I wanted to say was: Result that’s one less giant euc to worry about in 10 year time you and the neighbourhood had a lucky escape there.
  16. No worries
  17. No worries, just shout. As to the boat cost don’t we know it, most expensive bit of water in Europe!
  18. Can you post it on here please Mick? Don’t do facelessbook and I’m not about to start! - Suffin about Old dogs + new tricks and all that!
  19. Evening Eggs. I can’t do the driveway here at the mo I’m afraid but there are a fair few good pitching spots locally I can put you on to, some tucked away and some right on the beach, just let me know if your coming this way and I will do what I can to see you right while your on my rock! 👍
  20. Any one after an easy lift harness? We have one here that we don’t really use anymore after stopping doing big hedges. it’s probably 3-4 year old but only been used half a dozen times and is in as new condition. Got both Velcro straps for fixing on the tools as well as a added tool clip Its a double gas strut one (heavy duty) but you can remove one gas strut if you require less lift. can sort posting it at cost. Or can collect from Isle of Wight! £150 ovno Last pic is a sales pic from the easy lift web site as I’ve not unfolded it and used it just to get the same pic!
  21. I thought they all had lots of chippers, just not their own!
  22. That has got to be the best layman sharpening guide ive seen. 👍 Don’t forget to reset the depth gauges/rakers after sharpening.
  23. Finnish the course, uk tickets seem to be highly regarded across most of the world. Once you have finished travel, you will learn different ways of working and partying. At some point you will settle down and not get to travel the same so go and make the most of youth.

    Sheep

To breed and grow lamb can be profitable, however you need a few hundred to be earn a basic living, at this point a few losses are excepted but if you have 10 it’s almost as much work as a 100 and you lose a higher percentage so not viable. The tipping point seems to be about 50 to make the effort vs reward viable on a commercial level but that is as part of a mixed set up

    Sheep

No the bloody things won’t die. They will however: beat you over if you manage to get near them (see point 3) eat anything you don’t want eating and little you do run faster than you over any terrain escape and not die so so you have to catch the bloody things (see point 3) need 7ft fencing not 4ft have no value to sell if you want to smell that bad you will not want to go near them or in the same field during the summer heb sheep need minimal maintenance and would be your best bet in my mind
