  5. Something big private estates, many now managed by NT used to is do plant parkland trees & small fenced copse woods avenues etc and hedgerow treees to improve landscapes. This must of stopped being done much over 100yrs yrs ago judging by age of the youngest trees. Loads of massive 300ys old oaks limes etc etc but theres near zero specimen type new trees being planted to replace them once they eventually die. Thats what ive noticed on all the old estates round here anyway... Still natural regen in the unmanaged woodland blocks though many are full of Rhododendron.

    Hoovers

Not got one but SEBO is supposedly best but has paper bags Used a henry yrs ago wasn't impressed. Have a cheapo vax atm but its very filmsy and cheap quality build wise. Before the vax was using one of 3 old dyson animals I found dumped in the hedge at the side of the road. Better built but suck is less powerful than on the vax. Relatives now borrowed the vax so now back to using the dysons 🙄 The EU limited the motor sizes to save the enviro so they all suck less now than the older ones i think?
