Soming very odd for the first Asian PM to be such a far right PM. Inciting violence by a group with a hatred of people like him to protest against a pro palastine rally so by definition pro israel/jewish. Odd bed fellows..... 18. Sounds sensible but still no idea & what about say a a really a ancient lapsed pollard? Think they would want to know about thoose being lopped large diameter branches etc - not some street lime done every 5 yrs or less,
  19. I was idly thinking its being less windy the last few yrs Might get storms but from day to day it seem less generally windy & more flat calm days with hardly a breeze. Maybe the wind is all concentrated on certain days so average speed could be near the the same but seem like theres being less constant prevailing winds. Being a cyclist means you take a greater notice of wind as even a breeze is very noticable if its a headwind. Nor exactly a scientific observation though.
  20. Thre more short term rapid climate change versus a slower natural speed of change is the issue that makes it harder to adapt to. Things such as the predicted seas lvl rise on not very long timescales, changes in rainfall patterns affecting agri productivity etc But I agree a reduced global pop would make adapting to climate change so much easier & also reduce climate change & increase quality of life as there would more of the finite nature based resourses to share out per person without surpasssing the numerous ecological damaging boundaries.
  21. Like the mound planting idea Probably best install some buried pipe irrigation system also as may need watering for a a few yrs most likely esp if its on a mound & they have spent so much on larger trees...... THE OLD ENGLISH METHOD OF PLANTING A TREE WWW.TREEDICTIONARY.COM

Such works are used today to maintain a tree in good health and to extend its lifespan in highly modified environments, such as streetscapes. These works do not require a felling licence. Not sure but this says no?
