  1. Poland to produce over 800 South Korean K2 tanks as part of order for Polish army WWW.AA.COM.TR -First 180 of planned 1,000 tanks will be supplied from South Korea, defense minister announces - Anadolu Agency Thats alot of new tanks. So much for the talk of tanks becoming obsolete or at least less important due to UAV's etc? So Poland will have the biggest tank army in Europe.
  2. Gnosticism presents a distinction between the highest, unknowable God or Supreme Being and the demiurgic "creator" of the material, commonly identified as Yahweh, the God of the Hebrew Bible. Several systems of Gnostic thought present the Demiurge as antagonistic to the will of the Supreme Being: his act of creation occurs in an unconscious semblance of the divine model, and thus is fundamentally flawed, or else is formed with the malevolent intention of entrapping aspects of the divine in materiality. Thus, in such systems, the Demiurge acts as a solution to (or, at least possibly, the problem or cause that gives rise to) the problem of evil.
  3. The northern alabanian alps is a very poor region, its apparently the region most of the albanians come from -a very mountainous and undeveloped region Stunning region for a visit I know someone who went there but still some villages with no electricity horse & cart agriculture etc. Peolpe don't want to live like a UK peasant from 1850. Abit like how nearly all the USA italians arrived from rural poverty in the south of italy.
  4. I don't get why more isn't used for fence posts as treated are so rubbish. I'd get them if the local places stocked any.
  5. Is chesnut coppice still mostly handcut or is much mechanical harvested now?
  6. Council house like the royale family
  7. Schwalbe Ice Spiker look alot more noobly. Always like any folding bead tyres better they are worth the extra cost. People call the rigid wire bead ones "hosepipes" 🙂
  8. Why refugees prefer Britain to France | World news | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM The Channel tunnel acts as a magnet to refugees because the UK is at odds with the rest of Europe in its attitude to asylum...
  9. If you want to maximize the lifespan of a pole barn type structure the below ground posts always seem to be first to rot so you could consider having overhanging eaves or using landscaping / french drains etc to channel water away Or saddle stones etc Granite, straight square, staddle stone with steel pin - Round Wood of Mayfield WWW.ROUNDWOOD.COM As these staddle stones are made from natural granite they may contain differences in colouring and surface finish, chips...
  10. I have 8 hens living in about a 50m2 area of a big polytunnel due to the current bird flu restrictions (usually they are free range in a 2 acre woodland /field and kept out of the veg garden as they eat the veg etc) They are doing a very good job clearing & fertilizing the ground . Normally now is when weeds are just starting to germinate inside there but they have keep it 100% bare soil. . Makes sense to put them in there every winter. Fallow areas could also be planted with forage crops for the hens
  11. Loads of stuff like that on etsy not sure if its worth the hassle... T+light+holders+wood - Etsy UK WWW.ETSY.COM Check out our t+light+holders+wood selection for the very best in unique or custom, handmade pieces from our shops.
  12. Tripods ladder are good but being 4.5m that will need the the biggest 12ft tripod that costs £600 and still be abit short? Tripod ladder plus short pole lopper? ARS made a good & big range of different types and lengths of pole loppers etc. Or the wolf garten pole lopper - u can change the angle. Better if they initially were pollarded at a more sensible height - lower than 4.5m.......
  13. Why evil? Is it because 95% of new double glazing seem to have thoose very wide chunky UPVC frames which look ugly versus the narrower old frames ? Also when the sun warms them they are often noisey creeking etc On grand design etc they always seem to have alot thinner frames which look loads better but they are probaby more expensive?
  14. Hoe-ing is the key before any weeds appear/ get big. A larg-ish area can be kept weeded with not that much effort or minimal digging esp with that good soil structure you have. Your soil structure/ tilth looks perfect - very lucky as it makes a massive difference to the effort required versus a heavy clay etc. Wood chip is ideal for paths & to avoid soil compaction. You could use woodchip lay in out like this: The now popular idea of smaller raised beds/permanent path layout have downsides Weeds establish along any permanent edge structures & paths the soil will dry out faster on raised beds in the summer. Can't rotavate etc across the whole plot Less easy acess to push a wheel barrow trailer etc around to tip the compost / manure.
  15. Thought they were ok...... How would you stake them differently? Stake do look big but can't see that being an issue (apart from costing more) to the trees and if you use thoose figure of 8 ties it keep the stake away from trees? Hard to see well from pics if they will rub....?
  16. More wood left for countryside dwellers? Tyres create alot of PM2.5 also Car tyres produce vastly more particle pollution than exhausts, tests show | Pollution | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM Toxic particles from tyre wear almost 2,000 times worse than from exhausts as weight of cars increases Wonder how much versus from stoves? Domestic particle scrubbers already exist but are not very mainstream unsure how effective they are ....
  17. The idea is that Stakes should point into the prevailing wind or down slope miss the root ball and be low enough attached to allow the top of tree top to move in the wind as supposedly this promotes the roots to grow better.
  18. Binding faggots WWW.MOT.BE A woodmans grip can be made in a 5 minutes & works well but the faggot presses etc are better no doubt. I think as starter make a few woodmans grips to use on long faggots then tying with twine then chainsaw the faggots into pimps. Theres a common near me thats unmanaged limestone pavement with hazel on it. It has electric poles overhead. a couple a acres are cut under the wires every few yrs for clearance They cut the hazel stools off at waist height a few yrs ago, all the of material left to waste & then they decided to dig up some stools with a mini digger for some reason....and leave them lying all over tha place so its a complete mess now Anyway enough material was left lying about for 1000's of pimps. .
  19. Just realized going from 6 to 7 tooth will incerease chain speed by 12% so not ideal Spur 3/8 LP 6 tooth sprocket and 325 7 tooth sprocket - the 2 stock configurations give nearly the same chain speed .

Or get the ea5000 rim one & Oregon 18720 i think would work Chainsaw Sprocket Rim 3/8" x 7 Tooth Small 7 Spline SM7 Oregon 18720 Carlton SRA27 GB GBA7S7 WWW.JAPGMOWERS.CO.UK Replacement for Part Numbers Husqvarna 504 52 30-02, 504523002, 5045230-02, 640 20 00-36, 640200036...
