  1. HELP! My house has subsidence and the insurance company has decided (after 5 years since the original claim) that digging a trench 3m deep and layering crush lime and soil will be an effective solution to stop my house moving, I have five large mature field oak trees 10m away from my house. I cannot find ANY information on this type of root barrier or any statistic as to its success! Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Thanks
