  1. Good luck mate.
  2. Any of the New England/teufelberger ropes with a ‘slaice’ work great.
  3. Surly you can work round telephone wires? Just cut and chuck stuff away. I think if most of us had to get telephone wires moved we would never work?
  4. I’ve a mate who did it, it was terrible. 1 tonne is nowhere near enough and they are super slow, the patrol capstan winches are a much better option.
  5. I think it’s a fairly common. Thing now, most of the big firms have something like this. Maybe they should provide the iPad though.
  6. Yeah we only found it the other week, it’s much better without.
  7. Take the black bushing plate thing out of the top of the roller there’ll be some crap in there. We’ve had it for the last couple of weeks too. Also check take the plate off under the bottom roller, if that’s full of stuff it drags more up the back. We leave ours out on brushy stuff now makes it much less if a problem.
  8. There’s a place in keighley I did mine at the other month, they were pretty good had a bit of a lesson in the morning and did the test at lunch time. I’ll route the details out.
  9. Aren’t Saturday nights normally 12 hours?
  10. That’s pretty impressive stuff mate. Looks a fantastic setup.
  11. Here’s a few of ours from this week it’s an 8 tonne Doosan with a TMK 300 and a Timberquip grab and rotator.

  16. So sorry bud, i really don’t know what to say. Keep tour chin up.
  17. You turn the 19mm side bud, I did it the other week on a chipper the Allen nut just holds it.
  18. Does any body have or know of a kiln in the northwest we’re I could dry some wood? I’ve some wood I could do with using sooner than air drying would permit. Thanks guys.
  19. All the best bud. Hope everything works out good for you
  20. I read the Arb magazine as well as pro Arb and Arb climber.
  21. One of the best post I’ve read on here for a while. Take my hat off to you.
  22. Three anchors is standard on NG/Fountains now mate, two ropes and a side strip at all times. Everyone had to go on a days training to get taught how aswell. Makes climbing very restrictive.
  23. I suppose a lot of people do just lions tail stuff and call it thin. Cheers Paul see you there. John
  24. Was that on the fountains contract?
