  4. It’s been replaced by a newer model I think I’ve read somewhere I can’t remember the name though.
  5. How big are the planks? If it’s not to big Hermes are pretty good. We use them regularly. Also Shiply for bigger items.
  6. Try tree heroes in heywood or maybe tower forestry.

  8. Yeah it can look amazing. Really good way of preserving the wood as well.
  9. Have a look at the Japanese technique shou sugi ban. It involves burning the outside of the wood leaving a charred finish that protects it from the element and pests. Looks really good on the outside of a building. There is quite a lot of info on you tube about it.
  10. Hi guys I was wondering if anyone could help me out, I'm in need of some western red cedar and some oak. Fairly large maybe around the 30" inch. We're based on Manchester but don't mind a bit if a run to collect. Thanks in advance John

  14. Been doing that since February last year now so just coming up on 18 months. We don't really do site work at all it's mainly domestic with a few council jobs thrown in. It's a tricky one because I could do with out losing it but by losing the cis bit we would seriously struggling anyway. Cheers mate

  16. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice? I'm a subbie but I do 4 days a week for the same firm. I got in this morning and was told they are starting to take cis deductions out of my wage. I really could do with out this and would prefer to sort out my own tax etc rather than lose a chunk of what I am payed each week. My missus is out of work at the minute so things are pretty tight as it is. Is there anyway round this or do I just have to suck it up and manage? Thanks guys
