  1. Cheers for your replies Paul, I think the TKF one is looking best for us. What’s brought about the change in the pruning stuff. Thanks mate
  2. They did mate, I replied before I read the rest of it or watched the video. Sorry
  3. Put a block on your piece you are rigging as well, this increases the rope in the system drastically and creates a 2-1 system, works really good especially on dodgy trees as it reduces shock loads. Climbing arborist on YouTube has a good video about it.
  4. We do not sure what they are but I’ll have a look in the morning. They are on a cabstar. Work grand.
  5. Is the first northern one the one a tkf still Paul? Cheers
  6. On my last one we covered the basics like normal but talked about installing a separate line to lower a casualty. It does involve having a dedicated kit though, basically as the climber ascends grounds puts a rig or something similar at the bottom of the tree, once the climber is up with the casualty he just pops the rope over a branch or through a pulley and the ground man lowers the injured party. Sorry if that’s a bit waffley
  7. Is anybody over here using a monkey beaver? Is there any plans for ce? Cheers
  8. That’s a bit rude don’t you think? A ripper tooth and a rake are both a good option for that I would think. Good luck with your project.
  9. Me too please.
  10. Router sleds your best bet bud, or maybe a local timber merchant or maker space if you don’t want to do it yourself.
  11. I think you are better just hiring gear to them, that way nobody feels like they are missing out. We pay x amount then can use what we want. Normally use staff from work and everybody gets paid when the person who’s job it is is.
  12. Thanks Steve.
  13. As above really looking for somewhere to tip timber in Runcorn, Thanks John
  14. Having worked for Gaz for a while in the past I can tell you this a great opportunity for someone, Gaz is a super knowledgable chap who really knows what it’s all about. Good varied work as well.
  15. The farmi isn’t fond of brashy material especially conifer type stuff. I’d definitely go with the schiesling
  16. Schiesling is an animal, had one on a u1700 was a U550 model though. Completely different thing to the tp which I had previous to it. I think skyhuck has one as well.
  17. Sounds like you need a new dealer, not a new saw
  18. Will possibly have some white pop in the near future that could be milked to whatever you need, will be around Northwich.
  19. Are you looking to pay to have them felled?
  20. Hello Paul, The link doesn’t seem to be working. Just thought I’d let you know. Looking forward to having a read. Thanks John
  21. I’m pretty sure the tree motion is is Teufelberger globe, probably best to double check though. You can buy it off the reel to whatever length you like.
  22. I think that was August Hunicke, I think it would work pretty good for drying it up, or at least creating a barrier between the sap and your gear.
  23. You will struggle to find good quality work on the north west, there are very few firm interested in doing things right, there exceptions of course. We’re about a are you?
  24. It needs to go on the buddy I think unless you take the visor off.
