  1. Great perch for the owl! Looking good, nice finish
  2. Brilliant! Always nice to see the starlings this time of year - surprised the poor tree could hold that many of them!!
  3. It's not just mushed up/rotting leaves is it? Looks horrible! Don't slip over on it!
  4. We get quite a lot of american visitors to our site, but we have a .com address - your website is obviously very findable! Good SEO? or same name as an american company perhaps? Love the website by the way!
  5. Stunning! Really like the natural patterns & grain of the wood. How long did it take to do?
  6. They're brilliant! Love the little pipe in the snowmans mouth
  7. Like that! Great to see something a bit different, may not be child friendly though...!
  8. They're brilliant - great way to recycle an old tree too. Can't believe how quickly christmas has come around again...!
  9. If its been in an air tight container it will help keep it fresh - have you got anything a bit older or not so expensive you could try it out in?
  10. So majestic - the colour change in 5 days is great too! Surprising how quickly plants turn for autumn.
  11. Brilliant! Love the combo of carving and bark, great contrast.
  12. Interesting thought - blood letting is quite an old fashioned remedy! The impact of HAVs on blood vessels occurs following damage to the nervous system. The cause of 'white finger' (Reynauds) is where the blood rushes away from the damaged area, so losing more blood would be a bad move - though the chemicals they release when they 'bite' (one called Hirudin particularly) does aid anti-coagulation, keeping blood flowing which could be where the idea has come from? The HSE website doesn't mention it for some reason...!
  13. We have an 8" greenmech at Acacia (tracked or towed) but not sure if that will be 'bigger' enough. Howard King is probs a good shout! Acacia Groundcare Equipment Rental 01273 494939 | Acacia Equipment Hire | Sussex | Groundcare Equipment Rental
  14. Great autumn pics - love all the colours this time of year. You must get showered with them when working!
  15. They look ace! The potpourri bowl is beautiful, really rich colour. Acacia Groundcare Equipment Rental 01273 494939 | Acacia Equipment Hire | Sussex | Groundcare Equipment Rental
  16. That's awesome! Face looks great, must have been pretty tricky - they're hard enough to draw on paper let alone carve! Acacia Groundcare Equipment Rental 01273 494939 | Acacia Equipment Hire | Sussex | Groundcare Equipment Rental
  17. Blimey! That's a bit steep even if its not a 5 minute job. Also shipping on that isn't free as it costs less than £200, so postage is extra! Surely to be a chair it needs a back too - unless it's just the essence of a chair as well!
  18. Looks really good! Getting ready for christmas by any chance? How long did it take you all up? Acacia Groundcare Equipment Rental 01273 494939 | www.acaciarental.com
  19. First go looks brilliant! You'll have to put up the finished pics when it's done
  20. Theres often chippers come up on the Pitchcare used machinery site - For Sale | Pitchcare Used Machinery Acacia Groundcare Equipment Rental 01273 494939 | Acacia Equipment Hire | Sussex | Groundcare Equipment Rental
  21. Brilliant! The little mouse is great, did you do it freehand? Acacia Groundcare Equipment Rental 01273 494939 | Acacia Equipment Hire | Sussex | Groundcare Equipment Rental
  22. Careful out there, if you are given PPE by an employer, you don't wear it and (god forbid) something happens, the company AND the individual can now be fined by the HSE, as the individual will be at fault for not following the site safety rules as much as the company for not enforcing it effectively! (it is, of course, situation dependent). Acacia Groundcare Equipment Rental 01273 494939 | Acacia Equipment Hire | Sussex | Groundcare Equipment Rental
  23. What a brilliant find! Must be pretty heavy - those robots were always bigger in person than they looked in the ring! Love the idea of a remote control log cutter robot, could be big!
  24. Seems a shame to just remove it! Presumably with it on the side of the road a wall that follows the curve/shape of the tree isn't possible. A strong fence definitely seems a good idea!
