I've got the turbo and mini turbo.Made a couple of bowls then my very old grinder pack up and not replaced it yet.Not used it enough to say to much about them but seemed to work ok.I've asked santa for a new grinder and no i don't want another bike. Kev

  7. Seems a bit odd to not have a battery.Have you borrowed it and if so what has the owner been using to power the unit.Or is it your saw that you have to try and bodge.Just buy the Stihl battery for it or you might find yourself having to buy both.

  12. I love my husky T li brought the brush cutter about three months ago and thats a fab bit of kit to.Love the reverse cutting feature for when your close to windows and the push of a button and away you go.I would have a lot of arm and elbow pain after using the petrol strimmer as the engine is to bulky which left my arm sat at an awkward angle i did loosen the bolts and turned the engine slightly away from me which helped.I 've got two batteries and that keeps me going for a days gardening and i can usually get plugged in somewhere for a quick top up if needed. As mentioned before they do have there limits and you still need a fuel setup.I was told you can use in a shower but after 30 plus years working in all weathers and now paying for it no longer work when wet. 16. Right after seeing all your great work decided to get a lathe. Not got a clue as what to get.Im down sizing my garden business and selling a lot of my tools so ill have some spare cash to spend. Now do i buy a second hand out fit which always seems to come with everything that i need or new at a lot more money.I,m into bowls and have made some with the arbortech turbo and mini plane which is ok for the rustic look but would like something i can use in the garage at the weekend without upsetting the neighbours. As far as to what I've looked at is the Axminster awvsl 1000 and a jet-jwl-1221vs oh and some of the record lathes. All depending on how much i get back on my tools but looking to spend £800 max.
