  5. £1950.They will build to the spec you want.Ive got mine so i can have just the bed or with one row of side panels and rear drop swing tail board. Then if chipping or doing say a garden clearance ill put the other two side panels on and the rear mesh barn doors and ladder rack. They also put the little side steps on wired up my tow bar fitted all new rear lights just don't know how they can do it for that when everyone else wanted £3500 to £5500.I know the frame is only sprayed with satin black but now the good weather is hear ill strip it back and give it a better coating with something. If it lasts four or five years ill be happy then ill take it back and get them to make me another one.I had mine made last August and its just starting to show some surface rust so with a little tart up be like new again.
  6. Yeah thats what i thought when i got stopped for carrying my garden kit in my car as it was only insured for domestic and social use not business. If using a car and you have a business policy sorted.Your private policy might not even cover you to go to the bank post office even going to a training course so best check.
  7. And at least with a van your be covered to use it for work. Not to sure if your be insured on something like the jimny ok i guess if its classed as a commercial.
  8. MCB done my ranger for me.Theres a photo of it on my site. They only spray the frame with satin black so it won't last unlike powder coat but for the money they charged and the good job they did I'm not fussed. 15. Ive been using two Mountfields SP 535 20'' cut Honda engine just over £400 each very happy.Husky or Stihl for strimmer/brushcutter.Mountfield launched a pro brushhcutter not long ago that looks a good bit of kit.All depends what you need it for.If it just to trim grass a stimmer or anything thicker brushcutter and if your going to be using it for sometime get a good harness.Ive just picked up a new Husqvarna 536 LIL battery brushcutter and am well impressed. 16. Got that RFW on mine. The switch is to turn it on and off and i think when its on you can engage the 4x4 with out having to stop. When i had a new clutch fitted to mine it came back with the RFW light on took it back to garage and they didn't know why its on and said take it to Fords i just left it and sold the truck as it was.Got an 08 now and the RFW switch and 4x4 stopped working now.
  17. Im running a business not a charity.Sorry only chip what we cut.Had all these can i can you just wire and crap in the bundles sorry if i sound mean but its a BIG NO for me.
  18. As above I've had mates go into a couple of local dealers and brought top handle saws.Dealer says there is no law stating that anybody needs a ticket licence for home use but they did get them to sign some sort of an agreement to say it is only to be used for domestic and not commercial use.I personally think its a bit of a tricky subject and think anyone wanting to buy a chainsaw should do the training.Im not the only one whilst shopping at my local dealer to see young or old jo public walk in and out with 60cc plus saw with never even starting one hows that right. One of our local dealers has starting to do a basic hours show how when jo public buys a saw which is a good idea.
