Steel does it but only because of the iron content in it.

I bought an early model one on gumtree because it was cheap. It's quicker to clamp than the workmate but the dual height workmate is better as a bench or table.

You are getting about double what my friend was getting out of his Rav4. He got rid because he struggled to get into the 20 mpg bracket.

Opposite way round to the original but a chap I worked with put diesel in his old 1.3 Escort Mk3. He realised after about 1/2 gallon and just topped up with petrol. He was laying a James Bond smoke screen for the rest of the week

A friend of a friend has had one for a few years and not complained about it so it must be o.k. as he does like to moan. I had the older model for about 5 years and it was fine but it was a petrol and a bit thirsty.

The blog is on about rear handle saws, I would never try to use one of those one handed no matter how small the saw. Top handle saws are a different concept surely.

He probably thinks if you start doing the job you will want the pro climber rate. If you are supplying your own saw to run his business that's down to you, suppose it broke would he replace it or pay for a repair ? -
