  1. Finish it off eggs, opinions are like arseholes everyone has one and everyone else's stinks.
  2. What is the reset procedure for the 261, just run it on fast idle for 90 seconds without touching the throttle ?
  3. Willow will grow from a twig stuck back in the ground. If the roots are near the surface they will probably produce suckers. I would say do the job then deal with any regrowth if and when it happens.
  4. Something to make me look clever.
  5. I was cutting a tall hawthorn hedge once and was suddenly blinded by loads of greenfly. I let go with one hand to swipe them away from my face and the trimmer swung round and pinched me on the thigh. I was wearing ordinary bib and brace over jeans and it didn't cut me but I had a big V shaped bruise where it nipped and it was painful for days.
  6. Cutting with one hand and moving the bucket at the same time, he's my hero. ?
  7. Why is he using a top handle saw in a mewp basket ?
  8. We've had rain and 9.0° overnight and it's a bit overcast now. It was 24° on the back yard yesterday afternoon
  9. Please tell us you didn't do that just to get a date ?
  10. Sounds like it's not fuelling properly. If it's still under warranty at 6 months take it in and get it looked at. If it's down to you get the carb off and clean the fuel filter out and check the metering arm and diaphragm. Give it all a blow out and some carb cleaner through it.
  11. Weight a bit their eggs, what you inferring? And the tree looks fine, just a few dead branches to take out if you feel so inclined.

    3.5t to 7.5t

What do you mean by that ? I know a few scaffolders and one of them can even write his own name.
  13. Bill is recommending the Makita DUC355Z I think.
  14. Give it to someone with no sense of smell who needs to get rid of some weeds.
  15. Don't knock it, you're 10p up on the deal.
  16. A friend of mine lost his right index finger end to a splitter. It's a home made one run off tractor hydraulics and his wife was working the lever at the time.
  17. I thought you were being locked up for something ?
  18. Red Kite eggs with red squirrel surely.
  19. Wasssuuuupp
  20. Can someone translate this for me ?
  21. It sounds like they needed the Sheffield Council to sort it out.
  22. Spuds.
  23. We didn't kill him ! It is considered bad luck to burn elderberry wood indoors. Dropped leaves seem to kill off anything which is not well established under the tree and they manage to grow in the most awkward places like the join at the bottom of a wall where they are hard to remove. They also cause purple stains on the washing when starlings have been eating the berries.
  24. Mine's only a 135 but a couple of pumps on the primer bulb usually sorts it, same after it has been refuelled. As above, it's all guesswork if the model is not known.
  25. That will do for a deposit. Not refundable though.
