  1. Hmm, I have one, good idea, will try it, but branches are sometime 5cm thich, will it take them and won't damage to death?
  2. Yeah that's what I will do, just though to ask experts before.
  3. Have you tried triming fir trees?
  4. While I agree on cost stil, I am planning to stretch a bunch of them, that's why I am asking.
  5. Dont know if it is right place to post, admins, please move it to right place if it isn;t I looked on internet that birches are't trimmed and firs are timed by leaving long stems (10-30cm long)m, Looking for advice and criticism (already doing that), Also have some shrub like Tilia, how should I take care of then?
  6. Can you put streched 37cm on 40cm? or does it depend on maker? I am using original stihl ms261 and equipment it came with. Even if I put it on longer chainsaw bar, will it break soon (after all density become lower doesn't)?

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
