  1. True
  2. That gob's wonky
  3. I've said this all along, none of it is for the benefit of anyone further north it's just about extending London. It says in one article I read that there will be capacity for 14 trains per hour in either direction, how many people do they think will be able to afford to use the service unless it is massively subsidised or they are on expenses. It makes me pee ginger thinking about what all that money could be used for to benefit all of society not just the money sector.
  4. Strato is to clear the cylinder before the new fuel charge is drawn in so you get cleaner combustion.
  5. Same here big snowflakes but melting on touchdown but it looks like they might stick pretty soon.
  6. Still windy here but the rain has stopped and the sun is shining.
  7. Ditto in Derbyshire, it's lashing down at the moment and it's still not proper daylight yet might go back to bed. ?
  8. Breeze is stiffening here at the moment we can hear it in the chimney. Rain forecast for tomorrow but none at the moment.
  9. Don't go mad or there will be no coating left on the bore. The Nikasil plating is only microns thick. I've usually gone round the bore with 180 or 240 grit wet and dry lubricated with 2 stroke oil, no problems after.
  10. That looks too much like sugar, have you upset anyone ? Get someone gullible to taste it for you.
  11. I had to look up what a paradigm shift was and think it is a bit melodramatic when all he is saying is alternative methods are available.
  12. Number of seconds in a minute I would say.
  13. Thanks for that info.
  14. How does pitch affect chain speed ?
  15. You don't want right angles it will never cut A simple file guide is a big help if you are not confident doing it freehand. Practise on your chain you overdid the depth guides on, if you take plenty off the front of each tooth it will be usable again.
  16. It looks like a 171 I did at the farm. It was dying in the cut just like that and it had a carb kit fitted but was still the same till I raised the metering lever a bit then it was all good again. Your chain is having problems as well, I've seen sharper toenails.
  17. As a weekend warrior who uses spanners I feel insulted. I had to show someone how one of those worked once because he had bought a saw from B&Q and thought it was an auto tension.
  18. It's in the news again. I know that's the Mail but it's on BBC and Guardian as well. It could be delayed for a decade and could take 20 years to complete and has cost £7.4 billion so far without a single piece of track being laid. I like the article in Spectator showing it as political vanity rather than something we need and asking why if it is to revitalise the North is so much being spent on Euston station.
  19. Carrying what? Nobody will be able to afford to use it regularly unless they are on expenses.
  20. It's to get the bankers out of London so they can buy cheap houses up North and commute easily. Has any work actually been done on it yet ? It is going to cut a village near here in two and people are not happy. The local canal society are reopening a stretch of the Chesterfield canal and have contested the HS2 access. Best of luck to them I hope the gobbin mint sees it as what it is,a big waste of public money. The canal makes more sense.
  21. You're so rock and roll?
  22. You have a 135 already, why do you need another saw in the same category ?
  23. What kind of carb is that ? Needles and float bowls are for bikes and wouldn't work upside down in a saw situation. Metering valve would give different problems straight from the off so it sounds like a fuel starvation thing.
  24. In the original post he asks about adding STP or similar, I imagine to help with the fling. If you are thinking of environmental reasons this is definitely counter intuitive as they are hydrocarbon based.
  25. Does it record the hours like the 560 telling you how many hours on tick over and flat out ? It looks like a trip to a dealer with software capabilities to find out, no good guessing unless you know its history for definite
