  1. Car batteries and metal go to the scrap yard nowadays when I have anything like a trailer load. Batteries fetch 35p a kilo and the last lot I took along with some steel in the 4ft trailer made me £26. Better than a poke with a sharp stick I thought.
  2. That's very kind, tuck him in as well eggs
  3. As kids we used to eat the Spiller's Shapes as well as feeding them to the dog. If you get a sudden urge to start licking your balls stop straight away.
  4. I like the "your choice of weapons" one. I will have the pistols, you can have the swords.
  5. I'm with Paul, has anybody tasted it ? It does look like it's hosting something, it would be handy to actually see it on a tree. I don't know what any of them are called but I do like to spot them as I walk round the woods.
  6. Can you tell that from the smell. Sorry, that's Old Spice
  7. Bouef haché en croute
  8. It must have gradually diluted the original mix to a point where it was no longer viable 10,000:1 mix ? Just waft the bottle past it every third fill it should be grand.
  9. Yep, a pair of walking gaiters over your boot or some leg warmers from your dance instructor.
  10. It will be like Born Free all over again
  11. Try him at half new price, he might bite unless you were thinking of pinching it off him
  12. What else could you do to them ?
  13. Is that a nasty looking bump on your head or is your head a funny shape ? Glad to hear you all came out relatively unscathed and hope you get insurance sorted without too much hassle. It certainly knocks you back when these things happen if you spend too much time thinking what could have been the outcome, best to get back out there and get stuck in again. All the best.
  14. We've had a Hunter Hawk for about 12 years now, it only has a cast door the stove body is welded from boiler plate steel and is quite thick. It only has basic airwash system no tertiary air control but it can be shut down fairly low. We've been happy with it for what it cost which was £350 at the time. We found it at a local stove supplier cheaper than on the internet.
  15. You are flat out on the revs before you touch the wood aren't you ?
  16. I think he means tourettic, acting like a mad person
  17. I was watching a honey bee today climbing up the window and thought it was the first one I've seen this year so I decided to have a closer look and realised it was on the inside of the window. I caught it in a jar and sent it on it's way as it was nice and sunny outside.
  18. Ferrets and puppies Aaaawwww lovely.
  19. You'll get into all kinds of trouble doing it like that, look where it got this bloke. I stand my missus in front of the tree then walk back 10 yards and do the finger gauge to her height then go p the tree gauging with the fingers to see how many of her would make the tree height.
  20. On sale on gumtree, it looks a monster more like a Rotavator than a saw
  21. A woman's work is never done It's not been very warm here today either with the constant breeze and the sun never made an appearance.
  22. Engine programming unit
  23. A friend of mine uses an electric saw he bought from Screwfix for about £60 and he has nothing but praise for it.
  24. Bit of price investment difference between a towing vehicle, stump grinder and fuel etc. and a van with a ladder, bucket and a squeegee though.
  25. Look for carbide burr in google. If the rotary tool is variable speed turn it up to top speed and don't use much pressure let the tool do the work. Wear good protection as well as they make sharp splinters.
