  1. Had a small tree and had my lad help. He was well away with the silky he has the crown down in half hour I
  2. All I seem to get from that is "ooh I have some trees" lol
  3. A friend wants a walking staff. I carved a tree of life into it, as she's into the pagen stuff
  4. Finished early today so hot sent on another quick job. When we got there it was obvious we wouldn't get it done. The lad I was with said "we won't have time to do it today, but we have time for a tea" It worked and put a smile on my face
  5. Funny this thread popped up. I was looking at a raven for a pet last week. More cleverer (lol) than a parrot and you can't keep them in a parrot cage as the hop and fly where as parrots climb using claws and beak
  6. There was no one available to take the pic so he had to that himself too lol
  7. They're not oil leaks, it's marking its territory
  8. How's it going?
  9. I'd like to add mine to the list of FB pages. Not much content at the moment though. https://www.facebook.com/pages/JLA-Arborists-Tree-care/354631124738533

    Pay

Wish I was on £100 I'm on £8ph. I'm going through the process of becoming a retained firefighter to top up my wage. I have barely enough to pay bills and it'd be a nice change to say yes when the kids want something. I'd love to set up but having 3 kids its hard to get the capital to get the kit. Sell yourself and how you benefit the company your at, then ask nicely. If he says no all you've lost is a question with a yes you have some extra money👍👍
  11. I'll be the nutter drinking from a horn lol
  12. The world is back on its correct axis. It's been a while since I saw a hornbeam ID
  13. If I get on Friday it won't be till about 2100. Is anyone staying sat night too?
  14. Any info for visitors yet regards camping or entry fee etc. just looked at arb association website but couldn't find owt
  15. Excellent advice
  16. The same ladders with zarges badge are £300 more. These have lasted at the company I'm working at over 5years. http://www.twwholesale.co.uk/product.php/section/6950/sn/34138100
  17. We use these. Very good general ladder. And cheap. http://www.twwholesale.co.uk/product.php/section/6950/sn/34138100
  18. I'm after one, in a suicide door setup. I'd have a tool tray/box to slide in one side and use the other for my lunch bag or occasional passenger.
  19. It's an important topic. People need to think about. On a local scale taking arisings away can spread biohazard as you drive from site to yard. National shows etc bring people from far and wide. Just a quick look round the APF carpark and you could see loads of trucks, how many were properly cleaned? Maybe before but what about going back home? Taking all that lovely mud back
  20. I thought about getting a 60m then cutting it to have a 40, 15 and 5 meter
  21. Hedera is the same rope, but green in colour. And you can buy it by the meter http://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products-page/yale/climbing-ropes1/yale-hedera-13mm-climbing-rope-per-metre/
  22. I've seen someone (on here) hit a full nappy with a brush cutter. He was NOT happy I was on a job and the lady had picked up most. We pointed out some the dog had recently done after picking up. She said don't worry it's been wormed!!
  23. Plan in decades. Think in years. Work in months. Live in days.
