  1. It’s fine Sam and no problem I tend to pick the Posts I reply to very carefully on here now because over the last few years it’s attracted some people who do nothing but spoil for an argument but overall there are some great lads on here who give out free and very good advice and more often then not it’s very helpful....up until a few years ago we had some great characters on here but sadly they have slowly disappeared for one reason or another....hope you didn’t mind me picking up on your analogy Ref felling as opposed to removal and or take down...we are always learning that’s the best thing about this site.???
  2. It’s fine we all had to start somewhere...other people might call it a Removal but a fell is basically a totally different scenario and I could have just opened up a can of worms.??
  3. Hi Sam...before anybody else pulls you up on your reply and probably in a very sarcastic way it was a take down and not a fell, just for future reference.?
  4. MS192 (Topper) MS260(Mid Range) MS660(Big Stuff)
  5. I think you could be right there spud..?
  6. Hi All just an update to a post I put up a couple of months ago in relation to the oiling issue I have had with my 2511 Echo top handle,so just to update anyone who needs to know if they are having the same issue...the saw would work fab for maybe a day and then the chain would just start to tighten up on its own and continue to do so even after a good clean out. it must have been in 4 times with the same problem and every time I got it back it would do the same thing, now I can’t remember who it was on here who said he had the same problem and he ended up taking the gauze off the oil filter and his saw worked perfectly, then I think some one said try a stihl oil filter as taking the gauze completely off would allow to much crap in. Well it’s been a while now since I changed the standard Echo filter for a regular stihl one and the result is amazing and it’s been perfect...I have a 150 but the Echo is my go to little pruning saw and it’s better then ever so if any one else is having the same problem with any of there Echo saws as far as oiling is concerned I would suggest to just change your oil filter for a stihl...jobs a good un and thanks to who everybit was who posted the information.??
  7. Exactly that Stubbs and as a added extra he’s a horny little shit and wants to hump anything with a pulse.....can be quite embarrassing or also a little funny watch posh lady’s trying to push off a little black sprocker being wrapped round there legs and them saying in a really posh voice..oohhh he’s a rather playful little things isn’t he.??
  8. I have a Evo sub 750kg on order and have asked for the fold down discharge shoot and reversed colour scheme...been waiting a while now as there is more to adding the folding discharge shoot then was first thought so hopefully it won’t be to long now Peter Kirk at Greenmech has been kind enough to keep me informed with relevant information and timescale so fingers crossed it will be sorted in the next couple of weeks and really looking forward getting it as I have sold my 150p but Greenmech have kindly lent me a Machine until my new one is ready.
  9. He is a handsome dog(well we all think our dogs are don’t we) thinking about puting him to stud when he’s ready...his farther is FTCh Meadowdale Xfactor Ian openshaws cocker who won the 2015 championship and Weaver is the absolute spit of him.
  10. Weaver is around 13months old now god knows we’re the time has gone he is a very intelligent dog and absorbs instructions very quickly but he gets bored really quickly so I have to be very careful with him all he wants to do is play and he makes my day every day,he’s not setting the world alight at the moment as far as being a working dog but I got a very strong feeling he will realise who and what he is supposed to be....after all he is still just a young lad and time is on his side.
  11. Nice job there Gary and with the weather the way it is at the moment it’s a great time to be doing jobs like that..spot on fella.?
  12. I would definitely say that’s way to much...it never ceases to amaze me what people ask for and pay for second hand Chippers so here is a reality check just today I sold my 2018 Arborists 150p 155 hours for £9,250 and it will have a service before it goes.bargin or could I have got more? I think bargin but I know what I wanted which was slightly more but it’s sold and have new one coming.good deal for the buyer and i’am happy for what I got.so all I would say it hold your horses and have a good look around and you will get a decent year Chipper for your money.
  13. Wow..is there really any need for you to reply in that kind of way? I remember not so long ago on this site you would have been given a warning by now or even banned..if you need to reply in that way send a pm to the guy as i’am sure most other people on here don’t want to read reply’s like yours.
  14. Hi Pete and both valid good points especially leaving roadside brash and cord...a Chipper is worth it’s wait in gold and has made a tree surgeons job a lot easy over the years and agree with you totally about the work what goes into the production of a Chipper but all I was saying is for what it is it’s just a lot of money and it’s like haveing a car once you have had one you can’t do without it.
  15. While I have never thought of Chippers being a useless piece of equipment and far from being nothing else but a great piece of modern day equipment which overall make our job so much easier and less time consuming I have always wondered how basically a engine put on a frame and some wheels with a couple of fan belts connected to a set of blades can cost as much as they do...you can easily go up £45k to £65k and more and yes I know Machines are more complicated than that but the basic set is frame, wheels, engine, belts and blades.
  16. Look no further then the Arbortec Pro Range I was working for Arbortec at the last APF show and sold a lot othe Arbortec Pro’s to woman as they liked the style and the fit that was 2 years ago and Arbortec have added to there range since then.
  17. Thanks Jase it’s not the end of the world if it’s not possible to do as I know all these remods have to go through the correct process and I know if it can be done you will do it...thanks again for updates and communication.?
  18. HI pete the reason I asked the question was I noticed that the base of the Shute hasn’t got the hinged mechanism installed so that led me to ask the question regards the fold down Shute. I really hope it can be done as it saves so much hassle when storing the machine in a lock up.?
  19. Thanks Jase..to be honest if it is possible I would rather wait..thank you for the updates aswell?
  20. Oi Oi Jase....what was the outcome in fitting the folding Shute? Are you able to fit it to mine?
  21. She’s coming along boys and personally having the main colour good old school Greenmech Green looks fab...glad I didn’t go for the silver and black option which I seriously considered having done....doing a great job lads and thank you Jase/Pete and the lads....think there will be some beers on its way to Alcester??
  22. Thanks buddy and good to hear from you silkster...nnoooooo always has and will be 5 Shires buddy...got a pm from Pete saying he put 3 Shires instead of 5...no big deal he could edit it but it’s fine.hope you and yours are doing ok under the circumstances? Also like you i’am a grandad 2nd time my son Jordan has another little Girl a couple of months ago so 2 Granddaughters now....i’am a much better Grandad then a farther...quite weird really..Anyway I hope all this shit what’s going on ends before next year and we can all get back to some normality really missed not catching p at the Arb & APF..stay safe and say hello to your son from me...he’s a nice lad.?
  23. Hi Jase/Pete....Think you missed 2 Shires off the 3...should be 5 Shires??.All looking good though and really greatful and pleased you could fit the fold down Shute and do the inverted colour combination.?
