Hi Allister

Sorry to hear your not coming on the REC CLIMB on sat would have been nice to have meet up?

Anyway for what ever reason you not coming that's a shame, just thought that if you still up for a bit of a climb and try a few things I would be o.k to come over to you sometime if you have a few decent tree's to climb at anytime convenient for both of us?

Was just a thought as it would still be good to put a face to the name.

If you o.k with that just let me know?

Kind Regards

Wayne

 9. George foreman grill'everyone in our house likes there steak done diff. It get's them all spot on every time and well worth the money if you are a regular steak muncher like me.
 10. Just what I was thinking, always seem's to work out that thinks clash.just the way it is I guess. Never mind, will have more money to spend at the Arb show in june.
 11. Looks like it'll be a nice show, shame it's the same weekend as simon,s rec climb. guess there will be 20 or so less going on the sat and hope the wheather picks up For both.
 12. Ya no worries I will keep you posted and so far so good have had them since October and we have't had tomany dry days since and have been great. Feet dry warm and no rubbing.
 13. Ya I know what you guys are saying and I do think its all relevant to how much climbing we do. Also sometimes its not always a case of you get what you pay for I have had boots in the past which cost a fortune and have been crap and others which have been less then half the price and have been great. I just think there is't much difference in price between the top boots but sometimes its just nice to have a change.
 14. sometimes it depends on what kind of slabs you are repointing.deep or shallow riven or just smooth? All landscapers have a preference how to do this and repointing is always harder to do as opposed to when laying new. I always lay my slabs on a wet mix as I go along and by the time a couple of sq mtrs have been laid its workable to point up with out making a mess. After 30 yrs doing this of course you get it dwn to a fine art but still not rocket science. For repointing just make sure you take out as much as the old pointing as possible and to do this propyl takes ages but you need good depth for the new pointing. The most important factor is the mix you use, i use a building and sharp sand smi wet mix just enough that when you squeeze some in you hand it holds together. One more little tip is use some normal garden hosepipe cut into 6"pieces to use to press the mortor into the joints. Forgot to say you want to do a 3 and one mix' 2parts sharp, one part building and one cement just make the cement a good one.
 15. If anyone wants to look and price up the AKU boots I mentioned there's a company on ebay under mountain boots, good price to.
 16. Hi Fella I got the SPIDER LIGHTS GTX they are so nice it seems a shame to even get then dirty But had to be done and if they do the bis I won't be buying any others.
 17. In my view the world is back to front and the more bad you do seems to work and the harder you work your hit from every angle. So why not just get a little payback?just don't get caught doing it,and take it from me you will feel a whole lot better it won't bring your tool's back though. I don't speak for everyone it's just my view wright or wrong.
 18. If you are certain who it is and I mean 100% certain find out what they drive and were they park up and go from there.have a little pay back.police won't do anything but you just might feel a little better.
 19. Have just brought some AKU'S and had to get them from Italy at a very good price same boot hear £100 more. Lovely boot comfortable, very light and nice colour, orange and black. Could last 5mins or could be a good boot for the money and last a year or so. Will say later how thay are and how long thay last, but so far so good
 20. Depends what you want for your money, comfort or safety?not many out there what give both. If you fancy a ghange go for vertex if not just up date what you use to having. Always difficult when having to renew and or change any part of your kit and helmit even more so.
