  1. Easy £150 at most no need to mess about with a stump grinder if going by what you say only needing to go a couple of inches below ground level.
  2. Well when you get it up and running you can give me a free day on your lake for the idea? Shame I don't fish so day in the nearest pub? Sort'd. Good luck with what ever you chose to do buddy.
  3. Dig it out for a lake fill with fish and charge £30 ahead for fishing.if you do it right you'll make money' help environment and keep the wife happy. It's not a short term fix and would take a few years stocking with fish' getting the wildlife and forner in to gear but etc.
  4. No if only a few it'll still have life left in it.
  5. Snow here in bromsgrove big flakes but to wet to settle. Me thinks winter finally arrived. Snow and frost better then all the rain?
  6. We'll one of us must be right unless someone comes on and says it does't burn at all. I have always found it does't burn as good as or their dense timber never get a good flame. Saying that, it will burn but very slowly.
  7. No it splits quite easy but does't burn that well. but it's ok if free. I Would't buy it just for fire wood.
  8. Ya I should really but on the occasion when had it serviced it never seems the same. Silly I know but have had my work truck 12 yrs now and it sounds made but it's almost like it does't like anyone messing about with it. Bit like that film, CHRISTINE.that film bout that spooky car?
  9. I know nothing about servicing etc. I just put diesel, oil, water in mine and tyres when needed.have new glow plugs in tomorrow ready for the cold shape should have a service really but it's going just fine so won't bother yet.
  10. Agree the old shape looks a bit dated but it's a work vehicle and it does a job. I have 2. One 2000 the other 2001 single cab for work and double cab for best.
  11. Ford Ranger pre 2008. Anything after that just not quite as good. My view only and from experience. Don't want a word fight about l200, Toyota, Isuzu etc and how good they are.
  12. Not long got in was hammering down with rain for an hour were I was working so packed up and went home just peeling the spuds and the sun is out. I hate it when that happens I have a major gilt trip, should I staunch home or go back? 25 mins back to job!!! Decided rather have early t.
  13. Nice and tidy case of you look after your kit and your kit will look after you. Credit to you for being such a pro.good kit= good work ethic and pride in what you do.
  14. Big difference between £200 touchstone bag as apposed to£17.i know quality counts but for £17 it's got to be worth a punt.? I like the way it folds out as well, saves a lot of fumbling round.
  15. Sounds interesting. Am all for anything that makes climbing and movement in and around a tree more easier as i'am in the over 50 age group of climbers.
  16. The tree it's self looks like i's in a rather damp and wet position which most fungi obviously love and ideal growing conditions. The or their question I would like to ask is a slight move away from your main point in question. How far is the tree from the house? I ask this because you may have another issue with the tree if it is within 15to 20mtrs of any house as the root system of a Euc can cause major damage to foundations of any structure with in this kind of distance in which case it would be advise able to remove it and kill the root system asweii. It looks like a good size tree so thee root system will be 3to 4 times the volume of the tree. Just a little more info for you to consider.
  17. My pick up and would you believe my orange jacket I had printed up for just casual wear. The amount of people who stop me or tap me on the shoulder and ask for a card or just put the number in there phone. I for get until they ring and say remember me I stop'd you in tesco etc. works for me. And get lots from my pick up aswell.
  18. I know. I can't think of any reason why anybody would pay that much. Just don't make sense at all. And your right it's not as if he or she has gone to a dealer and it's still boxed up.
  19. Yes he does not just his family but his workers aswell. How he keeps going when it seems that every 5 minutes his kit is bricking down. Been watching it for a few seasons now. Last series was the last. The makers wanted him to do more but they want,d him and his son etc to argue more. He said no and sent them packing. Makes you wonder bout xmen and what the makers of that ask them to do for some extra money? None of them have a pot to piss in so I guess the'll do anything with in reason I guess.
  20. It,s up to£820 at mo plus £20 postage. Be good if who ever buys it is on here? I doubt it though. Anyway we all spend our money on what we want just hope all the other guys and girls who are selling there 200 don't start putting £700 reserve price on them. Supply and demand springs to mind.
  21. Not a bad way to spend the day. Never known such a hard working guy and a nice fella as well.
  22. You,d be better of keeping it till you need it. Unless you need to sell for the deposit on a new house.
  23. Only thing I can think why someone who would pay out even£700 would be someone just starting up and have saved hard for there first new saw.new 200 are not easy to find but even so that's crazy money. Bet the guy who.s selling it wish she had a few more. Can.t see any one who.s been in the game a while forking out that kind of money. Nice saw though and still the dogs.
  24. What's nice the price or the 200? Crazy money. Suppose it just go,s to show how crap the 201 is?
  25. No worries fella hope gave you a guide as to what sort of price to be charging next time you get a call out.?Also be careful in the future how and what you posts on here next time as you never quite know what response you might get. It's all good banter but sometimes a simple answer to a question is.t always the one you want to hear or get.
