  1. Hi Arren yep all good fella tree work ok no we're near as much as the boys who just do the tree jobs but getting a ought for me to handle and not bust my balls trying to do to much but all good. Shame you not back till October, would have been good to catch up at the APF. There's camping this year and a few of us are meeting up for the crack. 3. Could be a "HIBA" a cedar from japan. Did you get a look at the bark?
  4. Hi ED can you pm the guy you brought it of and just ask him? Makes sense I guess to continue with the mix it's always run on. If you change the mix it just might open up a can of worms if you start adjusting the carb etc. Am sure someone on here has had imported saw and can advise you better then me.
  5. Hi Arren how's you doing bud? Mite not solve the problem which you have but try a COCOON PULLY instead of a cam/saver. You will notice a big difference in every way but most of all self tending and could possible help with the wear and tear on the mechanism
  6. Snap again:thumbup:
  7. Hi Teresa F R Jones are based in Sydenham and there is a train station rite on the door step. If you ring them them and speak to justin he will tell you quickest and easiest route to get to them:thumbup:
  8. Yes hodge they are a close fit so good idea to try before you buy. I got mine at the ARB SHOW and went out the back and try'd them on just to make sure. Still nice though and much lighter and comfortable then the hi flex. Only my opinion of course:thumbup:
  9. Aboortec.great reviews and everyone who's got a pair are very more then happy with them.hi-flex good in there day but times have moved on.and yes have a pair:thumbup:
  10. Won't it be at the APF Jon? We're is it before then? Down your way is it? Thanks jon:thumbup:
  11. That's brill. Bout right size I reckon. A few caravan batteries I think Jon. But the Duracell takes the prize.nice one mr paul
  12. Yep I think it's the way to go for small saws. God knows how big the batteries would be for a 660:confused1:
  13. Ah up Jon. You had your tea out of a KABOTO mug so your street cred intact:thumbup:
  14. Ok it'll be our secret. I Would't want to damage your street cred.
  15. Ok catch up with you then. I'll be camping on the Thursday and Friday and there for the 3 days.
  16. Okey dokey that's great, can see another cup of coffee on its way to you in my very own stihl mug. Which you neary had away at the ARB SHOW. I'll forward my mo no to you. Nice one paul .are you staying down camping or B&B?
  17. O ok did,t realise there was a choice? Do the supers last more then 35mins as opposed to the lith/ion ones? So joneses ? They have big sale on at mo. Are we tailoring round the £500 Mark all in? Just ball park? Or might wait for A P F.
  18. Hi silk, can I ask did you get a good deal on your husque? I fancy one rather then the stihl, just can't quite get my head round working out the price with all the add on,s such as battery's and charger. Joneses looks the best price at mo. Be grateful for feed back.thanks:confused1:
  19. Wi hi silk,Would't that be good if that was all the gear we needed for every job? Sweet:thumbup:
  20. 52 in October
  21. Hi Pete just like to say all the best with your new venture and am sure it was with a very heavy heart the choice you made. Could you go down the training of other climbers? Just seems a waste of skill and talent that you can't pass on some of your know how on to up and coming climbers as good quality teachers are few and far between and we need more like yourself to pass on good work and climbing skills. Anyway good luck with your woodcrafts and may be see u and shows in the near future with your own stall? Aim big and succeed. All the best:thumbup:
  22. Yes your rite it does rip it a bit but still pressure wash but sand it down after, also if you sand it you open up the pours of the timber which allows the oil or whatever you are going to use to soak into the wood and if done correctly it looks fab:thumbup:
  23. Nice job and very well carried out by all, did you keep a ring of timber for yourself as a reminder of the tree you took down to make le tour a safer passage for all?
