  5. Yes it is worth it if only to see all the kit we will never be able to afford, lots to see and meet fellow tree/forest/timber etc old and new friends. Must leave a full day if coming though:thumbup:
  6. You might be unlucky if you have't book'd it already. Only a certain amount of spaces and not sure if full. Try and ring the organisers and see what they say.
  7. One tip.( bring lots of money) many many things to buy. And the food won't be cheap.other then that just make sure you don't spend all day around the beer tent there are lots and lots to see. Are you camping?

Just looked at whether forecast and is 24 degrees around the west mids area all week up to Saturday so all looks good whether wise. I put a shout out for a large BBQ last week so can bung a few steaks on at once. So if anyone got one and can bring it up that would be great. Looking forward to catching up with old friends and may be make a few new ones. Tool on thursday:thumbup:

  14. For get the digging my mate. Get the strongest legal chemical weed or brush killer and blast it has hard has you can. There are the use'll Guide rules to follow.but just don't tell anyone:thumbup1:

  21. All of most of what you said, and can't remember it ever raining in the summer hols,or for that matter anytime must have blanked it out. Tele programmes. Love thy neighbour, till death do us part,on the buses. God could anyone of us my age imagine love thy neighbour on the tele now. Not a chance. I'll have half is about what would be allowed.
  22. You using it for prolong time with exhaust close to ground Would't cause any damage,it would more then likely just cut out. My guess going by your description would be not Enough oil in the petrol mix which has caused the piston to lift.
  23. Yep gives you such a good feeling when you see a hard job done so well and by a group of skilled guys. Having the right kit makes a world of difference but still can't replace good old know how and man power. Well done to you all and hard tricky job done very well
  24. Amount capable of chipping Useley in cub/ mtrs anyway. So can't really say in tons has each tree varies in density and weight. Someone can tell me if am right or wrong? It looks like a decent machine and if they don,t over price it I think the'll do well.
  25. Definitely husky/bat top handle saw.be heading to joneses unless someone beats there price. Could blow a few hundred grand in a heart beat if I had it. But just looking at the kit that will be there will be fab. Whether looking good for the camping aswell,perfect:thumbup1:
