Throw line and throw weights and techniques

Carry a separate 15mtr to 20mtr length of climbing rope with a small folding crippling hook. Throw over good strong limb and just sort out a good repelling technique -

Bit harsh me thinks,it's never a nice thing when this happens but understand were your coming from and what you saying but most accidents are exactly that,(accidents) none of us go out to work thinking I know what I think I'll nearly cut my arm of today. Good work practices are all what we aim for but there is always that slplit second. We all know what I mean.

Is it the one on e-bay? If yes I would say bit pricey for what it is. Not herd of the name before. You need to know how easy parts are to get ect. In my opinion I would save another £1000 of so and try and get a named chipper so you know parts are easy to get. Remember a fool and his money are soon separated. So don't be a fool and dive in without knowing about what you are buying. Saying that if you can get it for £500 below what he wants that gives you a bit of money to spend on it if it needs it. Just my advice and opinion

Yes they are,never buy any ratchet type loopers.by pass are the best. O ya"fiskars.

Doing my 21-08 December after 15yrs I thought bout time. Anyway had a good look around but roland has got the whole package right down to staying over which I'am for 3daysand 2 nights and a very good deal. Looking forward to it.

That's a good way to be and like I said have been lucky. Was thinking of getting another 260 got my eye on one so see what occurs.

Old 18" don't tend to use it much. Joe you are right bout kit but have never brought a brand new saw, nearly new but not from a shop. Been lucky so far. And just might look for a good reasonbley priced husky equivalent.just brought new harness so have to be next purchase.

A Joe I thought you were a stihl man? With that 460 hanging from your hip. Always open to new stuff and giving it a chance. Just like orange I guess. The 361 is ok not a lot really between it and 260/1 just more to throw around. And ya will have to surely get it sorted to catch up again and make it happen rather then waiting for it to.
