  1. A Richie. Nice little drive out to buxton's for you then hope you brought the missus lunch for dragging her up there? Got some gear up there in buxton's and hard not to spend a fortune.
  2. Ha can see were you coming from, I just have never understood why stihl have't improved the 390 with more torque and power. Not a bad saw really.
  3. That should have read is low on power for what it is.
  4. The 390 an't all that and am a stihl man all the way but the 390 is not low on the power for what it says on the tin. Might be corrected o.m.o.
  5. Just a word to the wise rob, pm Toby.its you who should be contacting him. No offence ment but that's the way it is when looking for work:thumbup:
  6. M&M timber clows top? Or you after logs with bark on them and does it matter what type ie: conifer, elder ect:confused1:
  7. Like you say it's a free market and a lot of employees know that and they also play the ,well if you can't do it there are plenty who will card. And this is true. But £80 a day or a bit more is fair, but to stay ahead of the game you need to show that you are worth more then the next bloke and make it hard for someone you work for to let you go.
  8. In that case you should be on absolute minimum £80 a day and more if own kit. And when you do get your climbing tickets don't get jacking in the ground job and think your worth £120 a day and your the worlds best climber. Stay were you are for a while and start of by climbing and doing the smaller trees and show what you can do and gain some valuable exspeariance, then when you start making Money for your employer that will be the time to ask the question regards more pay.
  9. Yep, should be min £80 and a bit more with ground saw tickets. Plus if your good you'll get the top rate. And it does't matter were you are based, it might vary a bit but not much.
  10. Thank you for that and I'll keep an eye on here for more info for next year.
  11. Ok thanks for that, so will you be posting info on here at some point. Contact numbers and such like?
  12. Cheers for that, I thought I was alone ranger.L.O.L:thumbup:
  13. Ha good job you made that clear, you never know who's lurking on here.
  14. Ok. But don't say you were't told how good the ranger's are. Good luck with what you get anyway.
  15. This is true but just asking the question. A lot of guys with girlfriend, partners, wife,s don't know that if you put a female on your insurance as a named driver your insurance will be a lot cheaper.
  16. Put the missus on as a name driver, that'll knock £100 of the cost straight away. But only if you got one:thumbup:
  17. Go give the ranger a go and you can buy me a drink when you get yourself one:thumbup:
  18. So just to confirm, is this show on every year bout the same time and place & can anyone just roll up and camp? Some info would be good so as to book it in for next year. Thanks.
  19. What a Fab bit of tele and on a Sunday. Spot on:thumbup:
  20. Transit and ranger are so far apart in comfort and ride,if you have't try'd a ranger just give one a go. I gueentee you will change your mind:thumbup:
  21. I would still go for the ranger or am I the only one who thinks the ranger is the truck to have now for what we do:confused1:
  22. You on here hiding in the loo then:thumbup:
  23. A lads come on, but your foot down and tell them who pays the bills and tele license
  24. Yep were on it. Proper tele for a change.
  25. Between £2'500 & £3'500 deepening on how high you have the panels and barn doors eats.
