  1. Get address details,post code,were the allyway is. Ring your local council and they will either say it' belongs to them or give you guidance who does own it if not them. Land no matter how small is always owned for by someone

Your list is close to what you need but don't do it in that order,if you see a bargain and or you think you need it just buy it,you can never have anough kit, chainsaw first and decide which type will suite you best,if ground work and logging etc get a sthil Ms 260. Very light but powerful. The rest will come along in time. Get looking on e-bay for your felling bars,tongs etc.
  3. Even what you have said and the very bad luck you have had with your ranger I would still say a ranger takes some beating for a all round vehicle for Arb/tree work. I think you have just been very unlucky and brought a wrong un from were and who ever you got it from,whether they new it had major problems when who ever sold it to you only they will know Rangers are very good. From 01 to bout 07/8 are the best with the very new ones just as good, the ones in between not so. You just been very unlucky. No consultation I know.

  6. That's a shame, sounds like you Got a wrong un. Have you any come back at all? Sounds expensive you mite be better off getting recon engine if yours has gone. Very unfortunate
  7. This sounds like what's happening to my 2001 XLT turbo.belts are fine but when cold and I give it the revs it sounds like belts slipping. But having checked they are fine. Does what you say affect anything apart from may be a power issue:confused1:

  25. Hi joe ya wiould be painful if crippling hook,oohh hello. Mr git go it' ment grappling hook. You just throw the hook over a good strong limb which you consider strong anough to take your weight. In fact best to watch " Heliloggers on YouTube or D.V.D. I they do it spot on i he done it quite a few times. It's a bit different but a, it's still climbing:thumbup:
