  1. Sorry buddy I put your reply to the wrong person...been along day and had to many mulled wine🤪
  2. No they don’t It a petrol sub 750.
  3. The Evo 165D has a fold down chute and I had one on loan last year and it was easy and a great asset that’s why I went for one on my new chipper but the design is completely different...i’am not being negative about it as it looks good and works 95% correct it’s the last 5% that is going to have to be corrected...and I can’t go into deatail as it won’t be fair.
  4. Just prefer the petrol ones...that have the same if not a bit more power then a diesel and are much lighter for me to move around as I do a lot of work on my own.
  5. Who said it couldn’t be used? What I did say is Greenmech will be haveing a look at it after the Xmas break...it’s perfectly usable it’s just the chute folding down operations.
  6. This the thread has got a bit derailed and slightly moving away from the main subject which was basically me saying git new Chipper with fold down chute and I personally think it’s been over engineered,I think I was hopeing for some constructive opinions...that said there is some nice banter coming back so let’s all keep it nice and not fall into the sucker punch of getting dragged into a personal slanging match...fair enough lads👍
  7. I just posted a reply...god knows were it’s gone and it took me ages so am not doing it again...very odd🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
  8. Hi josh yep I would say good value and with a fold down chute.be cheaper to ship one over if you ever wanted one🤔
  9. Just want to wish all The Arbtalk Lads & Ladies a very happy Christmas and a Very Happy New Year....as we all know the past year has been really hard for a lot of people and family’s who have lost there jobs and even worse have had family and or friends who have passed away.Heres to a better 2021 and hopefully it will get back to some kind of normality and fingers crossed the Arb Show & APF will be on and we can all catch up. HAPPY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM WAYNE & WEAVER 🐶🎄👍
  10. Yes it does look good and the offset infeed hopper and rollers are a good idea...haven’t used it yet but will give an honest opinion on how it works.
  11. No it just breaks from we’re you can see about 12”/13” above that.
  12. It was £17k inc VAT and considering the amount of work which went into the design and fabrication of the chute I t wasn’t to bad really compared to other standard machines in the same 750kg bracket.
  13. Don’t like Timberwolf and always had Greenmech..it’s a 37hp petrol and has plenty of power for what I need.
  14. No not really I think the standard machine may be around £16k...and if all works out it will become a option for future machines if you would like it...not sure but mine maybe the first and like I said it’s about 95% rite but 5% needs to be sorted and hopefully the powers that be at Greenmech will ask my opinion as it’s quite an easy fix and I could do it myself but after spending £17k don’t see why I should and to be fair Greenmech are well aware of the situation and am 100% certain it will be done.
  15. Yes K it would travel with the chute down but like I said not until the design issue is sorted....and will let you know in due course but obviously running into the new year now till it gets looked at and in my view it’s a simple fix but it’s got to be done in accordance with manufacturers specifications and above all look neat.
  16. It’s not what it’s made out of.its how it operates and like I said I can’t say to much about it a the mo until they take a look at it.
  17. K i totally agree it is a great design and looks the biz and Jase and the boys at Greenmech are top notch and know there stuff but I have picked up on a design fault which I won’t go into detail about and have already emailed to the sales manager at Greenmech yesterday and within 5mins I had a reply so watch this space.
  18. Well done lads smashed the 40 reply barrier with only a few repeats, thinking about it should have done something for a charity or a good cause nominated by all of us...think maybe next year will do something similar and make a few £ for a good cause.🤔👍
  19. Well after 4 months waiting and a bit of faffing about I finally collected my new Evo165p Sub750kg yesterday with the fold down Shute which I asked for and just to invert the colour scheme from black to green. The reason I asked for a fold down Shute was to make it easier and les mucking about when putting into my lock up and the lads at Greenmech have worked hard on the design but I can’t help feeling it’s been a little over engineered but overall the machine looked fab. The main design change is with the infeed hopper which has now been off set to the left hand side and not central has it’s been forever on all Chippers, this is to help make feeding in tree waste much more easier and I gues if your feeding in from the left you won’t get whipped around the face when branches gets pulled in?
  20. Uummmm not sure Chipper ones count.....and to be honest it was a serious post but it was in evertable were this post would go so I just went with it.
  21. I make it 22 so far...can we make it to 40+.
  22. Always rely on you stubby to get the ball rolling...do you think we could get to 40 reply’s before xmas??
