Use a centre punch to try and screw the sheared stud out, there will normally be a small pip where the thread has broken, put your centre punch on this and gently tap it with a hammer, make sure you go in the right direction ie anti-clockwise.
  7. You could try selling on ETSY , if you've not heard of it its a upmarket ebay, the quality of your work shouls sell easy.

  10. Could be a thermister in the motor, these are put in so the motor cuts out rather than burns out, a motor rewinding firm would soon put it right.

  12. Calderdale industrial museum has open days in july, the Piece hall has a few good shops and sometimes a small market, for a decent pint go to the Three pigeons all 3 are in 10 mins walking distance,Hebden Bridge has canal boats . Shibden Hall should suit both of you, gardens and museum. Just stay well clear of bradford and have a nice stay

    Which chainsaw

Ha ha expected this kind of reply but I should have added that they are the clubcard exchange vouchers that have to be used in the garden section
  14. This is not a stihl v husky thread. Just had £60 of tesco vouchers given that have to be used by wednesday 10th, decided the only thing worth having was a cheap ( and more than likely nasty ) electric chainsaw. I am thinking about the Red 2000w or the Einhell both are the same price £70. Which would you choose? Buy Chain Saw from our Saws range - Tesco.com
  15. Have a look at these,scroll to bottom page. I want that MR2 THE SHOOTING-BRAKE & WOODIE'S GALLERY

  18. Like the way you have done the lettering, might save a bit of time if you print it all out on one sheet of paper, this would save you having to space them yourself. Been thinking about getting a dremel router to do similar jobs
  19. very neat work to say its free hand, What did you use to carve it?
  20. Just had a look at my whitney punch and they look very similar to what your wanting. The relief on the shaft measures 4.5mm. there are lots on ebay if these will fit

  24. You could try to season one of your other pieces in water. Not sure how it works but from memory I think if its left in a stream fully immersed the water eventually seasons it. It does sound silly but it does work.
  25. You could try spraying a can of wd40, wait till it starts to disolve then wash with a jet wash
