  4. i picked a flexi one for nownt the other day, so you think a cowl is pointless? i hope so as spending money is a pain

  8. when doing any of this trailer thing, you need to go slow, chippers are short and easy to tow, but i see whats happening, i towed long trailers in the past. eye contact is the best way to avoid an accident, if you can see them!
  9. £25 to £40 is a going rate, but there are lots of places that want chippings, try your local allotments first, and maybe the council will take it off your hands for free.
  10. yesterday I took a full on impact off my silky, to my left hand, my end of my middle finger took the impact, very lucky....only nipped a chunk out if the nail bed, the gloves saved me, could have been drastic. I was wearing wilko gardening gloves with velcro strap, Does anyone know where to buy them? my local has sold out.

  12. a bargain on ebay is the Bosch 14.4v at £60ish - lots about, dont be scared of by 14.4v - its a great battery and only £20 for a new one, cheapest in town

  14. i reckon it depends on your buyer. my man would pay £80>£150 for a nice one, thats just a approx. find 2 or 3 turners and do the rounds, taking bids
  15. when they are that good, i wonder if they ever need whipping, i used one without and it never changed.

  24. They are bomb proof, I have 5. Dropped 200kg branches with a massive drop to test, bent a 4ton ring, no change to the dyneema. don't be scared off by the 'dyneema sling' comments, and friction banter. winners they are.
