kleins are the best. alloys are too bulky. bashlins are heavier. cant say enough for my old kleins:thumbup: just get an old set for £45ish
  2. also stupidly expensive:blushing:
  3. join the gang works always a struggle...
  4. a right daft position of a new bulid, and the tree needs a proper job now. sometimes it better to shrug your shoulders and find a hedge or rotten one to do, take your magnifying glasses off and forget about it.
  5. cracked me up.... Drew Struzan Three Stooges TREE SURGEONS Plate W/COA | eBay
  6. depends on the horse, one of mine was a pick pick-pocket, he'd also do your zip up/down and put your hood on your jacket up/down depending on his mood.
  7. looks a bit risky for personal use. would not put my life next to a chance, the reason why it's used for horses: when they are in a panic and they rear or back away, it will break free, to stop them hurting themselves. tied it over 10,000 times on all my horses. on another note, i would use it to lower the odd branch, to speed up a job if the groundy is off smoking a fag:thumbup:
  8. of course its a barbers chair. i'm talking about the cause, if you look at the pic you can see the grey area, where water has been for sometime.
  9. looking at the pic, the split looks like water had been in there for sometime.
  10. £500 for rusty scrapper. £2000>£4000 for a good one seen lots around the £1200 to £1500 mark, but would not part with £700:laugh1:
  11. Possibly he was cutting from the left, as it looks like as it split, the stem then rotated left, the tree looks in one piece on the bank below. The bank also looks very steep. Must have happened so fast.
  12. very sad, thoughts go out to the family. i found this link http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/north-east-news/evening-chronicle-news/2012/10/12/police-name-newcastle-man-killed-by-falling-tree-72703-32020573/
  13. I did my 32 straight after my 31, it makes see the job totally different, it should be compulsory.
  14. speak to Fletch at anchorpoint, could only be spitting distance Anchor Point Tree Surgery
  15. depends what you want. i would not sign write one, because de-values the van. buy stick on 10yr vinyls, you can also get good prints these days - 3yr life. you pay £80 for business name, phone number and something else, then you decide exactly what to spend and where. sign writers will try and say, 'never last, never last....etc...etc..' while sharpening the pencils.....its not true,
  16. i had one of those the other week.... feet firmly planted, taking down an old kids wooden homemade summer house, well rotten, pulling the tarp off the roof, WACK! timber slid off with nail in it, straight into my nose.. no pics, but healed ok. no lid...i know:blushing:
  17. first class points. it's just poor that pier pressure is the motivator.
  18. depends if its your kid! if you think not, ask this will kill off most... Diabetes cases to soar by 700,000 as obesity epidemic takes its toll | Mail Online
  19. thats because the 'health centres' put 12yr olds on the pill without the parents knowing or their consent!
  20. My telly is so heavy they couldn't ,move it. My van is a shed, so the keys would only be good for scratching others. You cannot rely on the exponential growth numbers game, we are only here for a spit, some ?yrs others +75yrs.... There is higher probability of disease wiping out most of the worlds poplulations.
  21. if thats the case, the price would be higher
  22. My thoughts are, as i've seen it happen....keep building up the pile with a tractor. 1/2/3/4yrs on and the compost has got to be good value, trailer load or bagged up. ££££'s The stuff i've seen was the highest grade, and a golf course would have paid a premium if mixed with sand.
  23. does this do it for you..... NEW MAKITA /DOLMAR 15"BAR AND CHAIN COMBINATION 3/8 56DL 058" OREGON CHAIN 73LP | eBay
  24. ah, you had them both in front of you. look a bit different in the pics. not sure about the leg loop triangle setup for strength.
