    Jokes???

Skydiving and tattoo for me. The only reason I didn't go skydiving was the weather
  2. Just had a look on our ordering system and it looks like they are available with 30" .404, 36" .404 and 41" 46 rapid super on a duromatic bar.
  3. Echo only seem to send bars in the box with the saws. Even their own website only states 18". I know Sugihara do a 13" bar for it, which is what the 16" will be anyway. If you get the bar and chain separately at least you'll have a spare longer set up if needed
  4. Can't agree more. I've only had a short test of this saw and it was a pleasure to use. If I was still climbing properly I'd have one without doubt. Definitely a need for two batteries, but I'd say that for any battery saw.
  5. I was told years back to let the saw run down as your nearing the end of the cut then apply the brake when you've cut through. When done right the chains already stopped and the cuts finished. Now that I'm working in a shop I have to say we sell loads of brake bands. (not just for the 550, but more often than not) Usually to firms that employ quite a few newbies.(0-3 years)
  6. Just started watching Cobra Kai Netflix. Enjoying it so far as a bit of light entertainment. The other half likes it also
  7. Think the module starts with 1122 400 can't think of the last bit. I'll double check tomorrow with which flywheels
  8. The ignition module is still available and is used for at least 3 different flywheels on the 66 if my memory serves
  9. It's a bee's nest. If you look carefully you can see one in the last pic
  10. Found these lovelies whist strimming today

    Fuel cans

    Beat me to it
  12. Had a feeling you'd have that one. If you change to the other the other guard at least you'll be able to use both. I can double check at work tomorrow if you want
  13. It should have some symbols on the top of the guard to say what the guard can be used with. If I recall you can remove the black plastic with line cutter and then use a tri blade brush knife. That's if it was fitted with the one I'm thinking of. Some of the 460's come with a different one where there's a black piece on top of the guard, as far as I know without these can be swapped and then you'd have one guard that can be used for line and a blade
  14. The 500i definitely likes the top end power
  15. I've finally got round to trying one(500i). And can't rate them enough. Granted I am working in a shop selling them now, so you might not believe me when I say it's the better saw, but is. So far we've had 1 come back for repair and that was because it was run over
  16. Love stuff like that. We need more of it on TV. As for Fred he was a great man and was fortunate to meet him a few times before he died. I met him through the local Abbey's head groundsman, who also had a love of steam power. As said a great man and sadly missed ?
  17. I did mine 20 years ago. I got failed for dropping my hand held cut. It was a Sycamore in the height of summer and I didn't account for the weight of the leaves etc. Anyway I was failed straight away. That made me think more about weights, cuts and associated risks. I passed a month later so not all bad. Things must of changed since then if you get more than one go in a test. Must be great great getting a do-over. Shame you can't get it when you drop something on a shed
  18. I use the Corona dualLink. I've not had any complaints so far. Easy to use and a pretty clean cut. Usually use loppers then finish off with silky if I'm being fussy
  19. No luck I'm afraid. Biggest we can get is a 49 in class 2 or 3. Rang round a few suppliers and everyone had the same answer sorry ?
  20. As far as I know Haix do some up to size 15. Will check tomorrow with our supplier if you want
  21. Nice vid that well edited and shows how capable and professional your team is
  22. Half way through 2nd series of Ozark. Absolutely gripping. Also really enjoying Norsmen
  23. There's one in Garstang I believe down the A6 towards Lancaster that did big steaks. Whether it's still there who knows
  24. gand

    Just me?

Used Pears soap with a bit of salt or sugar. Always seems to work for me

    Jokes???

Watching Norseman at the moment I find it quite entertaining
